- U will get plenty of time to explore mountains. U can visit many places like tungnath, nanital, jageshwar, pindari.

- Faculty here is great but just like govt college they are not ur friends.
- Hostels in summers are worst u have to have ur own coolers they are very hot during summers.
Remarks :
I got to know about this college from my father's seniors. They are all alumni of this college. This college is highly reputed in Uttrakhand after iit roorkee. Placement in mechanical engineering branch is nice companies here like B.E come. If u opt for this college go for mech. If u want to come here and don't want any attendance issues to opt for the IT branch. Most of the faculty here are PHD level (core Branches) and well experienced in teaching for more than 10 years. College Life is great Fest happens every year (Colosseum). If u get admitted here go for interactions with seniors get into societies and they will help u out. In short, u will end up BTech in 2.5 lakh which is much cheaper than any college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is fixed u have ur hourly every month (2 and 1 make-up exam) before our final semester exam. Attendance depends from teacher to teacher. There are criteria for attendance back also. If u opt IT branch no attendance issues for ur 4 years. Faculties are experienced but u know that govt teachers frown on u There are scholarships also if ur income is less than 1lakh u can get full tuition fees off. scholarships are given to students with high grades. The tuition fee here is 25000 per semester. the fee also includes our advance mess fee of 20000/- per semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, this time second-year students are offered internships in BIS in various colleges with a monthly stipend of 20000/-.Companies like Tata, Mahindra, Bharat electrical, SSSG Pvt Ltd, and Intellipaat come here with a package of 5-6lakhs.
Campus Life :
College life is great here. Pantnagar within itself is a big town with plenty of greenery and crop fields. It has Stevenson Stadium with all the necessary sports. clubs like etc etc are there. hostel food varies from hostel to hostel. But Shivalik Bhawan has the best food in cot Pantnagar. The college has 2 buildings one PCT and a second NCT. PCT is an old building where agriculture and civil engineering students go rest branches go in the NCT building. Pgs are available but they are outside campus near Nagla (Jawahar colony) approx 4 km from college.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
