- College infrastructure are good and more and more lab equipment are coming and its upgrading its building and lab infrastructure due to the very good V.C SIR which is very proactive sir and he teaches us the course(network synthesis and analysis) which he is very good at and we got good good faculty also
- I am very much enjoying my campus life with very suppourtive seniors from btech branches and some very good freinds i made with my year batchmates
Dislikes
- The college mangement system are not veey good in compare for other collegese but it is improving after the VC sir take the charge
- Some faculties are not very good and they think they are and create some disturbance and some are very favourable to some students but they are very few in numbers so i guess this happen in almost all place but they should take the side of right students and not favour their student
Remarks :
In SMVDU for b.tech courses you can get admission through Josaa and CSAB counseling then after you git your seat just come to college and submit the money and personal and academic info which is about a 3 to 4-hour process. The college management system is not very good and some teachers are good but some are not so great if your rank is not so good then this is a good recommendation for the BTech CSE, ECE, and maths computing courses.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty are good most of the time and the majority of got master's and some are doctorate holders are also but most of the teachers are not going to give good grades. In previous years we had minor 1, minor 2 with 20 marks each, and major of 50 marks and left 10 marks for either assignment or test it depends on the course teacher this is for most of the core sub-related to the branch you have chosen .but from this year mid-term and major and some assignment only Scholarships are mainly of two types, the first one is if your rank is below 100000 rank in JEE main then they give you scholarship the amount tuition fee which is about 72000 but you have to maintain the 8 CGPA or 7.5 CGPA and the second one is if your spa is 8.5 and above and your rank in your branch is top 10 percentile then they gave you the scholarship if you want full details then go to SMVDU official website and go to scholarship section
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for the internship opportunities that are available in our college due to having just completed my first year and I am focusing on the betterment and development of my skill set first.
Placement Experience :
The university has a full-fledged training and placement cell consisting of student coordinators, teachers, and researchers. It helps in summer/winter internships and placement for the students. Campus Life :
Cultural fest, tech fest, and sports tournaments are organized on campus and almost all festivals are celebrated The library is great and new journals and m are always coming we are updated through our school email ID for the new books available and academic books are about 70 to 80 percent available most of the time Sports tournaments are between 5 houses which are Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash, and Dharti. and many sports like chess, kabaddi, cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, Esports, etc for both girls and boys Many clubs for photography, music, dance, coding, GDSC, tearing(ECE, EE ), mech clubs like AET, etc are available Hostels are good but students are not they are much of the problem has been mandatory for most of the student's food is good most of the time but some days are not so good

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
