- climate is the thing i dislike about my college there is extreme temperature in Jalandhar .
- Airport is far from college campus and we have to travel approx 15km to go airport.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college were that it is one of the best technical universities in Punjab and India its NIRF in 2019 was 91 and its rank in Punjab is 3. Its infrastructure is also marv having experienced faculty members with Ph.D. degrees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is designed as per industry needs. All the faculty members are PHD qualified and well experienced and always ready to help their students. The exams took place twice a year, and the level of the exam was moderate to hard. The exams are timely completed in every semester. The fees remain the same throughout your course. Many scholarships are offered by the university for example SC/ST, need-based, JRF, EWS scholarship.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are good in our college companies like Hoping mind, TCS, HCL and many more offer internships to students. Mostly companies offer tech-related internships with stiped upto 1 lakh per month.
Placement Experience :
The placements are also quite satisfactory. Our college has a dedicated placement cell, all the big companies such as Zscaler, TCS, Infosys, IBM, and Microsoft came here to place our students. For more information, you can visit our college website.
Campus Life :
The fest are regularly organized in our university such as tech fest, cultural fest etc. There is a huge library in our college having thousands of books magazines and journals, the library is fully ac. Online books are also available. All the classrooms are fully air-conditioned having digital boards and projectors. The hostel facilities are also satisfactory having all the facilities room are having attached bathrooms and balcony .there are many clubs in our college such are coding clubs and cultural clubs.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
