- Infrastructure is good and the environment is fine , faculties are well maintained, neat and clean
- I like the cafeteria and the ground of my campus
Dislikes
- I don’t dislike anything yet but the campus is pretty small for Amritsar PTU University it should be a little bigger
- There should be more water tanks for cold and clean water in summers
Remarks :
I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University is Punjab’s One and Only Government Technical University which also provides technical degrees to every other private and public colleges and universities in Punjab. As it is a government university its fee is lower than other universities and colleges, so I would prefer this university to every student who wants or thinks of pursuing technical courses like B-Tech in Mechanical and Computer Science or BCA, They should surely choose PTU as its Good in studies and Teacher and Professors are kind, frank and intelligent and they teach well. There are a few campuses of the I.K Gujral PTU, The main campus is in Kapurthala, Jalandhar, And mine is in Amritsar. PTU is a great institution and every willing student should go for it. Thank You.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As it being a Government University the fee is Genuine for the whole degree compare to other universities and colleges public and private. And For S.C quota The fee is Totally free for all the studies .
Internships Opportunities :
I Haven’t Opted for any internship as it's my first year in my degree after 2 years I would surely opt for something that gives me valuable use of my time and makes me learn more and gain more knowledge. And More Practical stuff and learning and earning through it.
Placement Experience :
Placements are Good after graduating from The I.K Gujral PTU as it is the main Government University of Technical Courses in Punjab , So i would recommend to those who find Good Placements after their Bachelor's degree or master's from PTU.
Campus Life :
The main I.K Gujral PTU Campus is pretty big and other Campuses like mine are average , Actually my Campus the Amritsar campus for PTU is pretty small for a University but the studies are good , the teachers , students , environment is calm and Good . No Ragging , Bulling , or any kind of abuse here .

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
