Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university and it provides the best education also very economical as I belong to a middle-class family and cannot afford expensive college. I took an entrance exam which is in the form of a written test for admission to this college. The teachers of my college are responsible and punctual, my college provides the best possible environment for us, everywhere is full of greenery and peace. My college is far away from digital India, you have to stand in a long queue for fee payment in this UPI generation. The admission process is very simple you have to fill out an application form online after that the exam date will be announced and the admit card will be uploaded on the official website. The cut-off is approximately 80 out of 100. You can easily qualify as you have to study the syllabus
The curriculum is easy not that lengthy. There are many faculties they are good in teaching most importantly they are very punctual. In a year there is a scholarship, in which they provide half the fees of the college. Although the fees are cheap compared to other colleges. I chose this course because I want to become an engineer, a civil engineer who can build a great future. Faculties have good experience and the teaching is also good but some faculty do not complete their syllabus on time. The exams are held timely but the semester is less due to which we hardly prepare for any other exam. The fee is less which costs 9000/year. The scholarships are NSP, Begum Hazrat Mahal etc.
Yes, I opted for an internship during summer vacation. This internship has taught me many things related to my course and my future job. My college provides internships, and the minimum number of students they allow are 50.
Placements are quite good and there are many job opportunities after the qualification of the degree. I will go for a government job after the degree. You should know the technical things and some skills about that specific course. Wipro and many companies have come to give placement. Last year the average package was 3.2 lakh per annum.
Campus life is overwhelming as you meet many people on this campus some are just people but some become friends or can become family also. There are many fests organized by departments mostly in November or March. Here is a big library named Zakir Hussain Library, this library provides better quality AC and e-resources also and many more. This library has a digital resources Centre. My university has a sports complex where we can play any game of badminton on the indoor court or cricket on the ground. There are many societies run by students like ecell, 180degrees etc. Hostel capability is less, food quality is not that good, and the menu is good. The registration process is quite lengthy as you have to submit the required documents and affidavits but the fees are less. The most famous locality is Batla House near the college for rented rooms or PG.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
