I had taken the CUET entrance exam and then according to the marks and preference selection for the college, I got it. And there is no interview or any group discussion to get this college. If you get a 500+ score in CUET you can easily get this college.
I have chosen a BSc (Hons) in computer science at this college as I have an interest in technology and computers. The course curriculum is also good in that firstly we will learn programming languages Python and C++ then DSA, OS, and DBMS. Apart from one or two, the Faculty is also good they clear your doubts.
Many companies come every year for internship opportunities. You can get a stipend of up to 10,000 per month if you have the required skills. Opportunity for graphic designers, accounts, website developers, video editors, etc.
There are internship and placement opportunities by the placement club at the college. If you have the skills required for the job you can be placed. The average package is around 2.8 GPA. If you want to get into college only for placement then it's not good for you because the package is not very high.
The campus area is around 11 acres which is quite good for enjoyment. There you can play football, volleyball, and basketball. There is also a big ground for ncc where you can practice. The library is also good there you can study and also can borrow books for around 2 weeks. There is no hostel in the college but you can easily get PG, flats in a nearby place.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
