- I like the environment and discipline in college campus.
- Faculty is very helpful and understanding.
Dislikes
- Sports are available for boys only. Girls games are not there.
- Cafeteria of college. Sitting area is not available you have to stand on tables and eat.
Remarks :
I had counselling sessions in college before admission and they made me realise what course I should choose and why this college is going to be best for me. They don't hold any exam or interview for admission you just have to meet the eligibility criteria of scoring a specified percentage in the previous class.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I always wanted to go into the banking field and college provided particular subjects based on my interest. Academically it was a great experience for me i came to learn about so many new things related to my stream and others. The faculties of this college are great. Professors are so kind and helpful. They understand every problem of students and try their best to help them. The semester system is followed. Exams are held every 6 months and sessionals 2 months before finals.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell of this college is quite impressive. Students from every course and each year have the opportunity to apply for internships and jobs. Almost 100 students secure jobs every year in reputed companies. HDFC bank, SBI cards, NHS hospital Jalandhar, QUESS, CENTRICITY etc. visit and offer great job profiles to freshers. Packages of 2.5-3 lakhs are mostly offered for starting.
Campus Life :
The campus is beautiful. The college has a huge library with good facilities available like issuing of books and reading and a sitting area for students with computers. From time to time different events are conducted based on festivals and activities. Many clubs are made by students and colleges as well. Annual fest are held by the university.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
