I chose this college because it was the best college I got to get on the JEE rank I scored other good options were MAIT USAR and a few IPU colleges. I choose MISt over those because of its location in Delhi and it has a good history of placements. the admission process was based on Jee's rank through ipu counseling and the last cut-off for Delhi students in my branch was as far as I remember 160000 in the spot round.it is different for outside Delhi students. I researched a lot on the previous year's placement records talked to seniors of the college and watched a lot of YouTube videos for information so that I could figure out which one would be the best for me at my rank and I could not find any better option. I also talked to my friends who were also seeking admission in the same course at that time and teachers who helped me prepare for the JEE. Music is considered as the top 3 colleges in IPU for btech and with other good colleges like DTU and nut.MSIT comes in top 8 Btech colleges in Delhi
I choose Btech because it is very informative and vast you can explore many things in this course from research to working in a corporate job. even change fields after you have found your passion and things learned in this course are helpful for your whole life this was told to me by my teachers and parents. faculty and my college is good... not amazing but good. The teaching method here is quite generic as I have studied my whole life nothing unique and new except the practical part is good they explain practicals very well and provide practical knowledge in everything which is required in everyone's life today. exams happen quite frequently actually like in October november december january April may June. we have 2 mid seems every semester followed by internal and external practical exams and then end sems. fees are not too high compared to other btech colleges like IITs du nut amity and all. they have a high fee structure for better or for worse.
I haven't opted for an internship yet as Senior's suggested I increase my skill level first then apply for good internships I know many good seniors in our college having very very good industries like Zomato and all getting paid very well for an internship.
Placements are good in this college compared to some other colleges of this level. The eligibility criteria depend on company to company but you should at least have a cgpa above 7 at least and more than 75% marks in 12th boards to sit in placements. A few companies that come to our college are Accenture HCL sometimes Amazon and all. The highest package this time as released by our college was around 86lpa I am not sure if it was on campus or off campus(most probably it is off campus cause it is very unlikely for a company to make this huge offer on campus in this college) full details of placement pdf year wise is available on our college website and most of the students are getting placed like more than 80% very few are left without any offers. tho most of the offers are 4 lpa or less. high packages are less in number.
There is no campus life in this college, as the campus is very very very small and fests do happen here but are not very good and there is a curse or something in this college that it rains every time on the day of the fest no exceptions. Social life is good here and people interact with each other a lot and learn a lot of things from each other. clubs and societies are also very active in every field of work like coding photography and all. I have personally joined coding societies and those are very good and help me increase my skills. the seniors here are very helpful too somehow there is no ragging. they just help every time I need help and invite me too to work on projects. clubs like Geek Room, IEEE, and prakrti are good and you should join if you are in this college. there are no sports in this college... tho sports day happens every year we are not allowed to play on the ground 90% of the time we need to get permission to play.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
