The location of the college was in my city so this was the main reason why I opted for Apsit. Placement opportunities in our college were in high numbers. Companies like TCS, Hexaware, KPMG, Mauka Technology, Snap Work, etc, and many visited our campus. The infrastructure of the college and extracurricular activities was also the reason behind taking admission to Apsit. For admission to Apsit, you have to score above the cutoff in the MHTCET exam and you will be eligible for admission.
Apsit offers a well-structured and comprehensive curriculum. It covers the core subjects, advanced topics, practical exposure, etc I opted for It engineering by following the market trend and my deep interests. Faculties were highly qualified holding some advanced degrees. The term exams will be held every 5-6 months having a medium difficulty level. The fee for the IT branch was 130k though I got the scholarship on a merit basis so mine was 12000.
Apsit does not offer any internship opportunities, it just offers some courses that are of no use. However some aicte internships were there but they are likely to be courses more than internships, courses like Redhat, oracle, cisco, ccna, and many others are available.
Apsit offers wonderful campus placements. Almost 75% of students got placed till the end of the final semester. There were no eligibility criteria for placements for most of the companies while some companies like EY and KPMG eliminated students with less than 60% in their examination. companies like EY India, KPMG, Hexaware, TCS, snap work, audio pro, etc visited our campus. The highest package of 7 lacs and the average package was around 3.6 lacs. I got placed in TCS Ninja so for the next two years I plan to work for TCS.
Life on the apsit campus is very exciting, delightful, and enjoyable. The fest named Ojus is celebrated once a year in the month of February (last week). In the Apsit library, there is availability of all books for every subject of every semester. The sports activities were held in the month of January. sports like cricket, volleyball, football, kabaddi etc are played for both boys and girls. There are several clubs and societies in our colleges like itsa_apsit, exalt, apsit wings, etc.
I have not opted for a hostel so I have not much idea about the hostel facilities and food quality. You can search for a hostel near the past and you will get to know about the hostel facilities and mess near the college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
