I chose this college for the location mainly as it is in Delhi, so greater exposure. Also, reviews were good over the internet. For taking admission my marks of Jee mains were considered during counseling and on that basis only I registered in counseling. There are also management quota seats.
The course curriculum is a traditional engineering curriculum consisting of physics, chemistry, maths, electrical, etc in the first year and then the second year onwards core branch subjects for different branches. Academics of the college are good, students focus on academics. Faculties are highly qualified and supportive.
Placement opportunities are there if you possess the right set of skills at the right time. Packages offered are average but some grab good packages too due to the right skills. The average package is around 6 lakhs per annum while the highest is around 50 lakhs from campus.
During the time of counseling, we have to pay 60k as seat acceptance fees. During physical reporting, we have to pay 105000 of the remaining amount. So the total fee for the first year is 165000 out of which 10k is the caution fee. From the second year onwards total tuition fee is 153000 till last year. Scholarships are there on an ews basis only.
This is a negative point of college as the campus area is very small up to 8-9 acres only as it is in the main city. Infrastructure is okay okay, with all required facilities only, nothing very extraordinary. There are many clubs in college, but only some of them are active. Rest are active only for a few months only. Different category clubs are there like technical, literary, economic, etc.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
