- The college campus is amazing and the only first thing i like.college infrastructure is quite impressive.faculties are experienced and has good teaching experience.
- Campus life is so good.The fests, cultural events, extracurricular activities makes it more amazing.there is no second thought to say that AIIMS Rishikesh has the most beautiful campus.
Dislikes
- The college is quite hectic in my opinion.you have to stand for 5 straight hours in clinicals.then 3 hours of long theory classes, it's kind of tiring for students.
Remarks :
So the first thing that fascinated me was the tag of aiims of course lol. The entrance exam is a nursing exam conducted by AIIMS only. The cutoff is not so high yet not so low, you need to score decent marks to get admission. The most admiring thing is the college campus and you can explore as much as you want. the bad thing about college is that it's kind of more hectic than another college as per my experience.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good. the faculties are experienced and the teaching method is quite impressive but you have to study on your own also. Exams are held timely on schedule and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is provided by the college only for 6 months and they'll give you a salary of around 13 or 14 thousand. you have to do 6 hours of shift either in the morning or evening and 12 hours of shift at night.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities are very good in nursing. you can give norcet after course completion to get a government job in aiims as a nursing officer. you can opt for a master's in nursing to get a higher degree and then work as a nursing tutor or clinical instructor. there are very good chances to apply to foreign countries as nurses are in demand there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for the whole 4 years is around 5000 which is 1025 for a year, quite affordable. It has increased to some extent in comparison to the previous year but still less. previously it was around 3500 for four long years. You have to pay 1500 at the hostel as security charges that are refundable after the course completion
Campus Life :
The most amazing aspect of Aiims Rishikesh is campus life.it is the best thing you can experience here. There are several intra and inter College fest. intercollege fest is Invicta held in around March or April and College fest is "Pyrexia" held in around September or October. you will have a good time during fests here. library is the second most amazing thing in aiims Rishikesh it's huge and contains lots of books of your course and interest. The classrooms have air conditioners and quite good desks. There are several committees for both sports and cultural events. you can enrol yourself in extracurricular activities also to develop your personality. there is some band also if you wanna experience singing.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms are quite large and well-furnished. we have here one common mess outside the hostel and a pure vegetarian mess inside the hostel. the menu is decent but not that good, what else can you expect from messy food. there is ? 1500 you have to pay as a hostel security fee that is refundable. and hostels are compulsory. menu is not the same all the time it keeps changing.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
