- This college has one of the beautiful campus out there..with alot of greenery and situated just near the ganga.
- Faculty is very considerate towards the students.. guards and wardens are very protective.
Dislikes
- Mess could have been better...they don't have any non veg options
- In our hostel there is a major issue regarding lift.
Remarks :
Aiims Rishikesh is one of the best after aiims Delhi, it was on my second priority after Delhi... there's a separate exam for nursing in AIIMS that is the "aiims bsc(h) nursing exam" that we have to clear to get admission... was of moderate level.. and cut off were pretty decent when we took admission (2022).. but now cut off is quite high.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have four main subjects that are different every year...tutors are very dedicated here and they guide us a lot in college and clinical areas..as they are also our clinical instructors...In a day we have 5-hour clinical postings and 3-hour classes...but it changes from time to time.
Internships Opportunities :
The course comprises of 6-month internship in the hospital itself...that is after completing 3 years and 6 months, we have 6 6-month paid internships that are approximately 14000 per month...in the internship period, one has to work in the wards assigned by the instructor for 8 hours.
Placement Experience :
There are many job opportunities after graduating from AIIMS, one can become a nursing officer in any government hostel for that you have to clear an exam called NORCT and you can apply for any private hospital or best that you opt for abroad and become a registered nurse.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are no monthly or yearly fees that we have to pay...we paid 5500 at the time of admission only, which is for all 4 years included, and we have to pay for the mess only... which is approximately 2500 to 3000 per month.
Campus Life :
The campus of aiims rishikesh is very pretty and huge...with a lot of greenery... there's an annual fest known as Pyrexia that the college organizes where sports, dance, arts, DJ nights, star nights, blind dates etc take place.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is compulsory for the students taking admission.. the quality of food is okay, not too fancy and not to bad...hostel mess is run by students only and every month fees are generated which is not more than 3000.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
