- Clg campus is quite big and varitey of food is available in campus
- The clg infrastructure is not in order but it is nice and classy..
Dislikes
- The don't allow student to move out In between 9-10am if the student is facing emergency then also...
- This clg doesn't organise many functions and focus on attendance rather than allowing students toh enjoy clg life.
Remarks :
This blog is one of the most popular college among the colleges of Chandigarh and the course BSC CYBER SECURITY which I wanted was available only in Chandigarh Group of College Landran and Chandigarh Group of College Jhanjeri as there is no direct transportation to Jhanjeri I Chose Landran. As it's a private blog so there is no sort of list name, exam name and many other things
Course Curriculum Overview :
As u all know CRIME is one of the growing aspects of today's World so regarding this I took this course Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security...The faculty is also well educated and knows about the subject which they are teaching and usually, the mode of teaching is written notes and explaining the whole topic on board...The term exam is conducted for a week and exams are held continuously the difficulty level is different for different people who have studied it's easy otherwise hard.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement are that u must have scored around 8 cgpa in each sem as to sit for placement and ur attendance must be 90% and above... The highest package offered till now is 6 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is 60-70 per cent. My plans after my degree are to get placement and do a one-year job in Bangalore and then move out and complete a master's in cyber security.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college registration fee is 11000 and semester fee for the odd sem is 39000 and the even sem is 40000-41000. The hostel fee is 90000 per year. Clg dress is around 2400 and the other miscellaneous expenses per sem are around 3000-4000. PTU University registration is 2500 for freshers and then each sem it's 1500.
Campus Life :
The biggest fest held in Chandigarh Group of College Landran is Parivartan held in Parivartan ground which continues for 2 days this the clog calls well-known singers Along with other functions also carries on like modelling, singing, dancing, and acting. All the necessary books are available in the library which u can issue for 1 month. The classroom is well occupied by fans and windows. Various extracurricular activities go on on campus like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, etc.. There are various clubs in clg like for acting, anchoring and so on but the best is DSW ( department of Student Welfare) which organises most of the functions in clg and moreover it is run by the students themselves
Hostel Facilities :
The overall review is hostel is good but it's more of a jail cuz boys are allowed to go out at 10 on the CLG campus whereas girls are not allowed after 7 pm. The hostel fee is 90000 - 1 lac per year for each student. There are many localities nearby where u can rent a room or pg.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
