Krishna University PG Admission 2024

Krishna University provides a variety of postgraduate programs, including MSc, MA, MPharm, MCom, MBA, and MTech, among others. These courses are all available over two years in a variety of streams. Admission to the majority of courses is determined by performance on a state-level entrance test or by merit. Details on PG admission at Krishna University are provided below:

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree with a relevant subject from a recognized institution with a minimum of a 50% overall grade.

Selection Process

• Candidates for PG Courses will be selected based on the merit acquired in the KRUCET.
• Selections for M.Pharmacy will be done according to the GPAT and PGECET Convenor.

Krishna University Admission 2024: MHRM, MBA, MTech, MCA

Krishna University provides five more PG programs in the areas of management, engineering & technology, computer applications, and social work. All of these programs have a two-year curriculum that is broken up into semesters. Below is a list of the relevant details:

• AP PGECET scores determine admission to MTech programs.
• Candidates must have a passing APICET score to apply for MBA or MCA admission.
• Admission to the MSW and MHRM programs is based on merit.
• Admission to the LLM program is dependent on the AP LAWCET test.

• Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant field (or in any field for MBA) from a recognized institution with a minimum of a 50% overall grade.

Selection Process

• Selection for all PG courses except MBA will be done on the basis of merit acquired in KRUCET.
• Selection for MBA will be done on the basis of ICET.

Krishna University PhD Admission

Krishna University exclusively provides a full-time Ph.D. program at the research level. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for admission, which are established by UGC norms. The merit of the prior qualifying degree or test is used to shortlist the eligible candidates. Following is a list of the Ph.D. concentrations Krishna University offers:

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed the postgraduate examination of this or any recognized university in the relevant subject securing first or second class with at least 55% of marks on the aggregate. 
• A relaxation of 5% of marks on the aggregate is provided for SC/ ST Candidates.
• Direct admission into M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes is available to lecturers employed by government degree institutions and government-aided private degree colleges who have been chosen for FIP/FDP by the UGC.

Selection Process

• Admissions for regular and part-time research programmes are made on the basis of rank obtained in the Entrance Examination subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
