The university also releases the admit cards for all eligible students, which can be accessed online after the official announcement. Students must provide their application ID and password to access the admit card, which contains details of the student, exam program, and center name. Yes, PU offers many online courses or distance learning programs through the Directorate of Distance Education. It offers various bachelor's and master's courses in B.A./B.Com. (Hons), BCA, BLIS, Journalism, Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Operations Management. Admission to the bachelor's degree is based on merit in 10+2, whereas for the PG admissions, the bachelor’s merit is considered.

 Patna University provides scholarships to students to help them excel in their studies. The college offers different scholarship schemes for different sections of students.

• It offers 2500 scholarships for students with disabilities and 500 scholarships for those pursuing professional or technical degrees and PG courses for more than a year.

The BEET and BLET exams are conducted in two parts with five sections. “Part A” includes, deciphering situations, thinking capability, and problem-solving ability whereas “Part B” checks the candidate's knowledge. 

• The BLET exam duration is 1 hour 30 minutes, covering three subjects. The exam consists of 100 MCQs with each question carrying 1 mark from each section. 
• The Master of Law Entrance Test (MLET) is conducted for admission to the LLM course, with a 45% aggregate score required. The exam is 2 hours long and has 20 seats available.
