What I Liked

College is old, infrastructure is very old but very good,
Faculty in core branches are best Campus life is very nice

What I didn’t like

Canteen food is not that much good and variety not available
Campus is in koni area of bilaspur. And it's 500 meter from main road at night there is fully dark in road

Placement Experience:

Placement is not very good here Very less company cane till 2022 Packages are not very good Core companies are less Placement cell is not highly active Cs/IT placement are also not very good Students find off campus placement

Remarks:

The college situated in Bilaspur City which is one of biggest city in chhattisgarh. College is very old and prestigious. Professor are very knowledgeable and humble. Getting selection here is not that easy you have to give PET exam taken by CGVYAPAM according to rank to exam you will be allotted the college and branch.

Review of CSVTU Bhilai.

What I Liked

The campus size of University is very big. As if campus of University is in 250 acres.
The infrastructure of college and the buildings of college is well built and the quality of class rooms are impressive.

What I didn’t like

The library of college is somthing which I don't like about college.
There is no play group and parks in college campus.

Placement Experience:

The college tie up with several companies which offers students a better working experience after completing their course. Companies like creda, netra foundation, and several MNC are the recruiters in university.

Remarks:

The factors that made me to get me in this college is, first of all its in my state, or I can say this is close to my hometown as result it helps me to reach out home during vacation. And other factors like Government University with great campus facilities and wide range of course accessibility seeks my attention towards this university.

Placement Experience:

2025 is the year first batch place from csvtu utd and internship are very great in csvtu bhilai so we predict placement are also very good and utd placement are also want to place our student on very good lpa

Remarks:

Jee mains or cgpet sets 3 branch are available in csvtu utd bhilai civil , cse in ds ,cse in ai and other activity are available there are many opportunity are available in csvtu bhilai and internship are also available in 6th semester

CSVTU REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties are nice especially maths faculty They teach upto the GATE level questions. Qualification of every faculty is very nice. There are two class test each subject happened before end semester. Difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Remarks:

I chose this college because of the branch. Data science and artificial intelligence are in trending. Admission is done through JOSAA/CSAB and PET Counseling. Cut off for jee mains is 85 to 89 %ile

CSVTU Overview

What I Liked

The first thing i like about this college is its scholarship. Which make a great advantage for poor students
faculties in our college were pretty good

What I didn’t like

Most disliked thing in our college is its canteen . I think they make improvement in few months
Network connection in our college is very bad, you can't even talk in calls clearly under the college

Placement Experience:

This year the seniors were got internships and also some were got placed. The criteria for sitting in interviews is 7.5 CGPA in college, A senior got placed at salary 5.5 lakh per annum in the TCS company. I am going to do M.tech after my B.tech degree completion

Remarks:

I have no other option rather than choosing this college . No there were such things like group discussion. You don't have to give any written test and interviews for admission. Just qualify the CGPET exam or JEE mains examination and go for online councelling rounds .

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very good, every thing is neat and nice, all faculties are very supportive.
All students are very cooperative and supportive for all.

What I didn’t like

Some food of hostels, by the way every thing is nice.
Not much companies are came, but it's fine.

Placement Experience:

Placement cells in our college is also very nice, companies like Wipro, TCS, Adani, Capegimini, Micro Turner and soo many companies. Highest package gone to 12 lac per annum in our college. I planned to go for power sector and currently working at Jindal Power Limited.

Remarks:

I have choosen this college because for Mechanical Engineering branch, this college is best in the state of chhattisgarh, they have bestest faculty for this course, all the labs facilities are great, every instrument is available at any time, an exam called CGPET will conducted for the selection procedure.

What I Liked

Faculties are very supportive to students.
In college campus there is one garden and canteen.

What I didn’t like

The wifi of the college is very poor in campus.
The insfrasture of the colleege is very old and poor as it was built in 1964.

Placement Experience:

Government Engineering College, Bilaspur provides placement assistance to the students. GEC Bilaspur placement cell bridges the gap between students and organisations. According to the college’s NIRF Ranking 2024 out of 270 UG students who graduated in 2023, 56 got placed with a GEC Bilaspur median salary of Rs 300000.

College feedback

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good in our college. Everything is digitally working.
Faculties are so experienced and supportive here. Always help the students to do better for the future.

What I didn’t like

The only negative points about the infrastructure is that it is in under developing conditions.
The campus is of 250 acres but it is under develop so we are not able to enjoy the full campus life.

Placement Experience:

Our college is new in btech course so there is still no any placement records here. But our seniors have just done their internship in different premium institute in india like iits. So placement will be there in our campus.

Remarks:

I am learning here most trending course these days and that is artificial intelligence, so I have chosen this college in counseling. And I have an interest in this course as well. That's why I got admitted here.

College review for Government Engineering College Bilaspur

What I Liked

The academics and innovative environment of our college is too good all students get proper amount of time for their self growth।
The campus life of our college is quite good. We get much proper time for enjoyment during the season of techfests and sports week.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of our college is not quite good.
The entire college campus needs more lighting etc.

Placement Experience:

Since this college is a tier 3 college, placement in the college is offered only by a limited number of companies. Every year the company takes admission in college for computer and IT students and provides a minimum package of Rs 4-6 lakh per annum. For civil and mining, Tata and JMS companies come and provide a minimum package of Rs 4 lakh per year.

Remarks:

The Government Engineering College, Bilaspur, located in Chhattisgarh, is a reputable institution in the entire region of chhattisgarh for Mining Engineering. 12th Maths students can gain college admission through two routes: national JEE mains or Chhattisgarh state CGPET exam. The cutoff marks for admission are different for each class.

East or west my college is best

What I Liked

I likes my college because i was never bored on my classes .and the infrastructure of my college is good compare to other colleges.and the facalty is also good , campus is nice .
Infrastructure are good to see it will surprise every one to see the structure of the college.

What I didn’t like

I am only disliking the distance of my college becasue it will take to long to go to the college time properly it takes 30 mins to arrives in the college

Placement Experience:

In my college, the criteria level is when if you are in the 4th semester or 6th semester then you will get the internship. And our will provides the high salary placements in my field. Like HTC, WIPRO etc.

Remarks:

I am done with the Chhattisgarh PET examination. In the PET examination, I qualified with the 1000 rank in Chhattisgarh. I need a college where classes are done properly so my relative told me about this then I was going to this ... Thank you
