MMU Mullana Admission Dates 2026

MMU Mullana admission for 2026-27 is running for different course groups. MBBS and BDS seats are filled through NEET UG 2026 counselling by MCC and DMER Haryana. For B.Tech, students can enter through Haryana HSTES counselling or through direct university admission based on board merit.

MMU Mullana Courses and Fees

MMU Mullana offers more than 70 courses across 20 degree families. Its course list covers medicine, pharmacy, engineering, law, management, nursing, physiotherapy and agriculture. Fees for the major programmes are listed below.

B.Tech is offered in CSE, CSE (AI and ML), IT, ECE, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Biotechnology. ECE also has an Industry Integrated option with a total fee of INR 10.20 Lakhs. The B.Tech programme also offers dual specialisation. MMIMSR offers MD/MS seats in more than 21 clinical and pre-clinical disciplines, and government-quota seat fees follow NMC rules.

MMU Mullana Admission Process

MBBS and BDS Admission

MMU Mullana gives MBBS seats only through NEET UG. The university does not hold a separate test or interview. The 150 MBBS seats are allotted through these routes:

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): MCC handles this process. Students with a valid NEET UG score register on the MCC portal, fill choices and get seat allotments through counselling rounds.
• 85% State Quota: DMER Haryana conducts this counselling. It includes state merit seats, management quota seats and NRI quota seats. Haryana domicile students get preference for state merit seats.
• Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The minimum aggregate is 50% for General category and 40% for SC/ST. A valid NEET UG score is compulsory.

BDS admission uses the same MCC and DMER Haryana counselling route. For MD/MS, admission is based on NEET PG scores and MCC PG counselling.

B.Tech Admission

• Eligibility: Students need 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology. The minimum aggregate is 60%, while SC/ST students need 40%. JEE Main is preferred, but students with 60% or more in Class 12 PCM can also apply on board merit.
• State quota: Haryana HSTES counselling is used for Haryana domicile students.
• Direct admission: The university fills management quota seats directly. Students can apply at mmumullana.org.

MBA and Law Admission

For MBA, students need a graduation degree with at least 50% and a valid CAT, MAT or XAT score. This is followed by the university selection process. For integrated law courses, including BA LLB, BBA LLB and B.Com LLB, admission is directly based on 10+2 board merit with a minimum 45% aggregate.

MMU Mullana Placements

MMU Mullana reported a highest package of INR 42 LPA and an average CTC of INR 6 LPA in the 2024-25 placement cycle for engineering and management programmes. Across all disciplines, more than 1,500 students are placed every year, and over 200 companies take part in campus hiring.

Recruiters across engineering, management and allied courses include Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cognizant, HCL Technologies, Deloitte, Genpact, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Airtel, Reliance, Oracle, Bosch, Mankind Pharma, Asian Paints, ITC Limited and Hexaware. Many medical graduates from MMIMSR either prepare for NEET PG to enter MD/MS courses or join government health services through state health department recruitment.

MMU Mullana Rankings

MMU Mullana appears in three NIRF 2025 categories. Its best listed position is in Pharmacy, where it ranked 26. MMIMSR also helped the university secure rank 33 in the Medical category.

The university also has NAAC A++ accreditation with a CGPA of 3.53 and UGC Category I status. These recognitions give it wider academic and administrative freedom. AICTE approval applies to the engineering and pharmacy schools.

MMU Mullana Scholarships

MMU Mullana gives institutional merit scholarships according to marks in the qualifying exam. The top slab offers a full tuition fee waiver for the complete programme. A student can use only one scholarship at a time.

MMU Mullana Campus and Infrastructure

MMU Mullana is based in Mullana, Ambala, on the Ambala-Yamunanagar Highway, NH-44. The campus is 15 km from Ambala city and spreads across 150 acres. It includes academic blocks, research centres, a teaching hospital, residential quarters and student housing.

The university has 14 hostels and 6 residential blocks for more than 3,000 students. Hostel fee is INR 2,20,000 per year, including accommodation and mess. A separate girls' hostel with secured access is available. The campus also has sports facilities, student activity centres and an auditorium with seating for about 1,500 people.

Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is the main teaching hospital, with more than 1,020 beds. It works as a tertiary care centre for the Ambala-Yamunanagar area and supports clinical training for MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, BPT and allied health courses. MM College of Pharmacy has a separate building and ranked 26th in Pharmacy by NIRF 2025. Total student enrolment across the university is above 10,800.

MMU Mullana vs SGT University vs Chitkara University

MMU Mullana, SGT University in Gurugram and Chitkara University in Rajpura attract many of the same North Indian applicants. These students usually look for private universities offering medical, engineering and pharmacy courses, with annual fees in the INR 5 Lakhs to INR 12 Lakhs range. All three institutions are UGC-recognised deemed or state private universities.

Among these three universities, MMU Mullana has the strongest NIRF presence, especially in Pharmacy and Medicine. SGT University also serves NEET-focused students in Haryana and has the same MBBS seat count. Chitkara University has a stronger engineering placement record for the North India technology market, but it does not offer medicine. Students who want MBBS and engineering options on the same campus get a wider course mix at MMU Mullana.
