Application and Counselling Process

PTU is classified as an autonomous institute. Admission uses entrance examinations and merit, with university-level counselling and scholarships available. The entrance examinations include JEE Main, GATE, GPAT and NATA, and their modes include online and offline tests.

Start the admission process by applying through the university's official website. Entrance examination scores are used to prepare merit lists, and both the provisional and final lists appear online. Students are called for counselling according to their position on the list.

Seat allocation depends on merit and the number of seats available. Once a seat is allotted, students must visit the assigned college, have their documents verified and pay the academic fees. Admissions follow entrance-test merit through either the Centralized Counselling Procedure or the institute-level route.
