- Schedule of semester, they don't run the semester for full 6 months but rather 2-3 months
- Examination Department is slow, the exams of other universities are ahead of us and we are just sitting here waiting for next exam that is 20 holidays ahead, it's a drag if u ask me
Remarks :
i didn't face any written test for admission there, however JEE was an option in 2021, but they have removed JEE for admission criteria in 2022, so Entrance test is no longer mandatory here, students get admission directly on 12th or diploma basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose CSE in B.tech becoz there is scope in this course due to the professionalism. talking about faculty, they're pretty good and focused on the practical courses, the guidance in projects is unmatched and flawless.
Internships Opportunities :
well the training and Placement club offer a lot of varities of internships from multiple companies and startups like pi infotech and zachery, there are many opportunities for strengthening your resume by enrolling in a lot of activities which consists of both faculty and student's combined efforts
Placement Experience :
7th semester is the eligibility criteria and written and technical rounds decide the eligibilty of students, nowadays 7-8 lakh placements is normal at this campus if u got enough skills and experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have studied B.Tech so i will provide that info only, which is as follows: Registration : 2000/- DF : 5,000/- SRF : 4,700/- Exam fees : 6,000/- per semester Tuition fees : 43,000/- total : 60,700/- first semester and 55,700/- afterwards PMS for SC/ST Quota : 2000 + 8000 Admission fees only, free afterwards 100% scholarship (Students will get full year fees payment in their account and pay when recieved, no late fees will be for SC quota)
Campus Life :
there was BIC in february 2024 (from 6 to 14), it was a very good event which included stalls, performances, and talent hunts also and many more. books are so much available for every course and knowlege based, they also have novels and story books, the have newspapers of every company there.
Hostel Facilities :
no i was a day scholar i didn't opt for hostel so i really don't know about the mess and dorms, however i have heard that the food in the mess is on average not too good, but i think mess food is a story for everybody not good

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
