- I like Library and study room of my college which is available 24/7 for the student of hostel as well as day scholar students .
- Another thing that i Like about my college is that it is so much disciplined here.
Dislikes
- The one thing that i don't like about my college is that the examination schedule sometimes the gap between the two papers are too much sometimes they are continuous.
- there is no summer and winter vacations are specified in the curriculum.
Remarks :
The college Fee structure for the perticular course is less as compared to the other colleges . The college is state government so it provide so much advantage of government scheme. there is no group discussion and interviews or written test for admission .the only criteria for admission is having more than 60% marks in your 12th standard. before covid there is admission based on JEE-Mains But from 2022 there is no such critera. the admission is counselling based and direct admission based .the portal is open in month of june to september . from the fee sturucture ponut of view the college is good for this course and there is a huge library where the vast collection of books are available here .its name is Knowledge Resource and Center . there is a study room available for both girls and boys which is open for 24 /7 hostel students goes and study here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My dream is to become a software engineer that is why choose this course . the faculty available are highly qualified most of them are assistant professor if the college dont have any faculty for the faculty course they hire the guest faculty. for each semester there are two mid semester test which is of around 24 marks for each subject. the internal of these test based on average of both the Mid semester test .you have to complete your 75% attendance in your semster otherwise you will be detained for the final semester examination .there is one final exam semester wise of full syllabus you have to score atleast 24 marks other wise you have a back in a particular paper .and the fee for the supply paper is 1500 rs. The exams level are moderate to difficult so you have to fully prepared for the exams .
Internships Opportunities :
I have recently completed my internship in Bharat petroleum and corporation limited R&D center in grater noida. i am doing internship in the field of computer network . I have done a project on the Oracle data guard and automating the process of gap recovery .basically i have to automate the process of manual gap recoveries while receiving the log files .i have done this using a programming language python .and successfully completed the task .
Placement Experience :
the college provided placements and internship .there is some of the internship you have to do in your 1st year and 2nd year also in 4th year it is course curriculam .it is mandatory. the highest package from my college is around 1600000 lPA .the Placement is now average here .yes college provide internship opportunities to their students .popular comapnies like TCS CODEvita ,Byjus Infosys offers placement every year to college students . My plans after getting the degree to placed i good reputed company with a good package so that i can fullfill my parents dreams .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Basically we pays the fee on semester wise its cost 44700 rs. per semester . the course fee availabe on each student profile on the ptu website that are available on when you search ptu.ac.in . during admission there is registration fee of 2000 RS.then you have to pay whole semester fee that is 44700. and once your admission is done there is no extra charges for anything except one that is examination fee its varies as for odd semester it is 2500 and for even semester it is 1500 only basically it was adding URF on add semester . several scholarship are available also if you took admission from the online counselling then obc and general student got the tution fee wavior .then the tution fee reduced its only cost 9000-10000 approx. But they have to pay there examination fee own .For SC/ST student there is PMS scholarsip that reduces total tution fee and examination fee of student .if you took admission direct counselling there is no tution fee wavier available for you.
Campus Life :
The life in campus is actually good there is so much plants . and seating area .you can walk there .so much gardens available .there is a huge library you can go there and study the library is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm you can issued books from there . the classrooms are full of Ac .Lights and Fans .lecture hall available .each classroom have there own projector .there is a computer center available in the college where multiple PC's available student can use the pcs for there curriculam activites.students have lab classes which are scheduled in these labs. so many clubs are available here like placement club , organising club, cultural club and many more .there is NCC course availabe .also NSS available here fpr the stiudents .so much clutural meets happening here .the youth fest are organising each year in the month of october and novermber .other companies event are also organised here .
Hostel Facilities :
yes I opt for the hostel because my home is too much far from the college .so i cant up -down everyday from college to home .the Infrastructure of hostel is very nice there is 2seater room available each room have attached bathroom and there is a fan and table a chair provided to each students .there is a separatre hostel for boys and girls . Mess is also available in hostel building there is a total fee for hostel is 25000 approx per year . the mess charges are separated .there is around 3150 rs for i month mess charge for 4 times meal per day .it cost 150 rs per day meal . mess menu is different on each day . once you took the admission in college you can opt for hostel it is in college campus .you have to come hostel and fill form and pay fee then the rooms will be alloted to you . the food quality is good here . no one actually skip breakfast the parathas .

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
