Central University of Rajasthan, also known as CURAJ was established in January 2009 by an Act of Parliament as a Central University. CURAJ is UGC approved and has been accredited  ‘A’  grade by NAAC. The university has also been ranked 151-200 under the overall category in NIRF Rankings 2023. 

CURAJ offers Undergraduate, Post Graduate and PhD courses across various streams like Architecture, Science, Commerce, Technology, Humanities, Sports, Mathematics, Education and many others. The university offers more than 50 Masters (Post graduation) and PhD programmes in its 29 departments.

Admission at the Central University of Rajasthan is based on Entrance Marks scored by the students in CUCET. There are various other Entrance Exam scores accepted by CURAJ such as GATE, JAM, etc. However, Students are required to obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam to become eligible for admission to the Central University of Rajasthan.
