Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education admits students to undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D. and M.Phil. programmes, including B.Tech and MBA. Entry may depend on an entrance test or marks from the qualifying examination.

Kalasalingam University conducts the Kalasalingam University Entrance Test, known as KUEE, for specified programmes. It also accepts relevant national-level test scores. B.Tech applicants are considered through KUEE or JEE Main, while B.Arch admission uses NATA scores. M.Tech selection considers GATE or KUEE scores, followed by TNEA counselling. Merit in the qualifying examination is used for the remaining programmes.

Kalasalingam University UG Admission 2026

Undergraduate study is available in engineering, architecture, science, commerce, arts, business administration, vocational education and computer applications. Most UG courses run for 3 years. B.Tech takes 4 years, while B.Arch has a duration of 5 years.

B.Tech admission is decided through KUEE, which the university generally holds in May or June, or through JEE Main. Eligible B.Tech lateral-entry applicants must take the university entrance examination, after which selection is made on merit. For B.Arch, the university considers NATA marks awarded through the Council of Architecture examination together with higher secondary marks. Admission to the other UG courses is based on qualifying-examination merit.

Kalasalingam University PG Admission 2026

Postgraduate options cover technical studies, architecture, science, commerce, arts, business administration and computer applications. Master of Social Work is also available. These programmes usually last 2 years. The regular M.C.A. course takes 3 years, while its lateral-entry route takes 2 years.

M.Tech applicants must hold a relevant engineering or technology degree and have a valid KUEE or GATE score. Selection for M.Tech considers the entrance score and qualifying-degree merit, followed by TNEA counselling. Merit in the qualifying examination decides admission to the other PG programmes. For some courses, the university's admission process may also use scores from CAT, MAT, TANCET or KMAT, as applicable.

Research applicants may choose full-time or part-time Ph.D. study across 19 specializations. A full-time Ph.D. must be completed within a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years. For part-time scholars, the permitted duration ranges from 4 years to 7 years.

Ph.D. admission requires the entrance examination held by Kalasalingam University. Shortlisted applicants attend a personal interview, and the final selection list is published on the university website. The university also has a 1-year M.Phil. programme in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology.

Kalasalingam University Application Process 2026

Applications are submitted online through the official Kalasalingam University website. Depending on the selected course, applicants may need a valid score in JEE Main, CAT, MAT, TANCET, KMAT, GATE or another specified entrance test. Courses that use entrance scores are followed by the university's official counselling process.

Students can complete the application in the following order:

Open the official Kalasalingam University website.
Choose the programme for which admission is required.
Complete the relevant entrance-examination form, where required, and then fill in the course application through the university admission portal.
Upload all required documents and valid entrance-test scores.
Pay the prescribed application fee online by following the displayed instructions.
After payment, submit the completed form and take part in counselling when the course requires it.

Good College bad Hostel

What I Liked

I like Campus environment, Faculty were good experienced and Infrastructure and we have good life and good environment.

What I didn’t like

Food in hostel was not good.Local students have More priority and Faculties will give refferal to company are any other events they give chances to only local students.

Remarks:

College Have less fee with the best faculties.College have best Company.We have More chances to placed.Faculties Give training for Placements and They will do Mock interviews for practice.No written test for admission by the intermediate marks they will select.

No actually there no such group discussion and interviews or any examination for the admission based on the intermediate and EAMCET ranks they take the admission .coming to the study of the college it is very good and the well trained teachers are there.

A Small review on kalasalingam university

What I Liked

The collage is very good and all the labs have high speed systems
All around the campus has wireless network access for seemless connectivity

What I didn’t like

some of the mobile networks are not available inside the campus
the hostel food is not good but the stalls and canteens are available in side the campus

Remarks:

I choose this collage because of the fee structure and it is very affordable and the collage is located outside the town with good environment and there is no entrance test for the collage we can directly apply online or by visiting university

What I Liked

The infrastructure structure of the University is good.
Faculty and facilities are also helpful and easy to access.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure should not ask as to pay miscellaneous fees every year .
They also should girls students for outing.

The factors that made me to join the college is the admission process to join this university is also very easy and mainly at the current generation the security for the girl child is very important so it is here.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very good indeed we can njoy our btech life in colleges apart from enjoying we need to study . Campus Life should enjoy when there are events in the college then the college will be decorated much more

What I didn’t like

I dislike is where the girls need to walk in the morning for classes like 10 mins and boys can go by 5 mins and discipline punctuality is well and good and the college is somewhat strict according to rules and regulations

I have gone through faculties by other colleges and they suggested me this College so I have joined this and I'm happier for what I have choosen .. that's my right decision I think so and I'll suggest this College

What I Liked

Nice infrastructure with greenary. You can chill out with your friends on free time.
Faculty is good in experience and they will provide sufficient knowledge

There is no more places to chill out with friends
The distance between hostel to the college

There is no entrance exam . We can get scholarship according to your 12 grade or marks and JEE rank too. If you get more than 95 % in 12 th board . You can avail 50% of scholarship. If you score more than 85 % . You can avail 35% of scholarship. If you get 75% . You can avail 15% of scholarship. What I Liked

About the college: 1. The green and pollution free environment 2. The freedom of participating in extracurricular activities. 3. Free and wife roads
Campus Life: 1. Interactive classmates and people. 2. Library 3. Free hospital facility with good doctors.

What I didn’t like

College: 1. Too many unnecessary rules. 2. Irritating faculties and management 3. Money minded management.
College life: 1. Boring and non interesting even organisation. 2. Scaring the students with suspension.

Remarks:

No tests for admissions if the cgpa in intermediate exams are 60% or above. It has good sports ground Too much free space to play cricket or other games Has a swimming pool Perfect environment for students to study Filled with trees No pollution
