SRIHER UG Admission 2026

SRIHER UG admission covers MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc Nursing, BOT, BASLP, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, and allied health sciences programmes. MBBS and BDS applicants need NEET UG and MCC counselling, while other UG health science courses use the SRIHER Common Entrance Exam or the admission group assigned by the institute.

For MBBS and BDS, SRIHER does not run a separate admission round. Students must register on the MCC portal, choose SRIHER in the preference list, and follow the MCC Deemed University counselling schedule.

• SRIHER MBBS seats are allotted through the MCC Deemed general counselling pool.
• There is no state quota because SRIHER participates as an All India deemed university under MCC.
• The MBBS 2025 closing rank for General category in MCC Round 1 was 263,126. A rank below 200,000 gives a stronger chance in early rounds.

Key Insight: SRIHER does not send separate allotment notices to students. MCC publishes the allotment result on its own portal. Students must check mcc.nic.in during every round because missing the reporting deadline leads to loss of the allotted seat.

How to Apply for MBBS at SRIHER?

1. Qualify NEET UG 2026 and download the scorecard.
2. Register at mcc.nic.in under UG Medical Counselling after Round 1 opens.
3. Pay the MCC registration fee and security deposit online.
4. Fill and lock the choice list with SRIHER under MBBS or BDS.
5. Check the seat allotment result on the MCC portal.
6. Report to the SRIHER campus at Porur, Chennai, with original documents.

SRIHER Paramedical Eligibility Criteria 2026

SRIHER Paramedical Selection Process 2026

Group A course admission depends only on the SRIHER Common Entrance Exam merit rank. Group A courses do not include a separate interview. Group B and Group C are separate routes and are conducted only at the SRIHER campus in Chennai.

• Exam mode: Offline pen-and-paper test in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.
• Exam pattern: 120 multiple-choice questions with a duration of 2 hours. There is no negative marking.
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. B.Pharm and BASLP candidates may choose Mathematics instead of Biology.
• BPT intake: 100 seats.
• SRIHER does not offer a management quota for paramedical programmes. Admission is based only on entrance exam merit.

How to Apply for BPT and B.Sc Nursing at SRIHER?

1. Register at admissions.sriramachandra.edu.in and pay the online application fee of INR 1,000.
2. Choose the preferred programme and exam centre from Chennai, Coimbatore, or Madurai.
3. Download the hall ticket from the SRIHER portal before the exam.
4. Take the SRIHER Common Entrance Exam Group A at the selected centre.
5. Submit the HSC marksheet to the SRIHER university office within the given deadline.
6. Check the SRIHER portal for the merit rank and admission schedule after results are declared.

SRIHER PG Medical Admission 2026

SRIHER PG medical admission is based on national entrance tests only. MD and MS applicants need NEET PG, MDS applicants need NEET MDS, and DM or M.Ch applicants need NEET SS. SRIHER does not conduct its own entrance exam for PG medical seats.

SRIHER PG Medical Selection Process 2026

MCC conducts the counselling rounds for all PG medical seats at SRIHER. Students must register on the MCC portal according to their exam category and use the entrance score for merit-based allotment.

• MCC fills 100% of MD and MS seats at SRIHER, including management/paid and NRI categories within MCC.
• MDS seats are allotted through NEET MDS merit, and MCC conducts the counselling for deemed universities.
• DM and M.Ch admission at SRIHER is also handled through MCC SS counselling. The institute does not hold separate counselling.
• For NEET PG 2026, General and EWS candidates need the 50th percentile. SC/ST/OBC candidates need the 40th percentile.

Key Insight: DM and M.Ch admission at SRIHER is available only through MCC SS counselling. DGHS rules send 100% of DM and M.Ch seats at private and deemed universities through MCC SS. Students should not pay SRIHER before receiving a formal MCC allotment letter.

How to Apply for MD/MS at SRIHER?

1. Appear for NEET PG 2026 on August 30, 2026 (tentative).
2. Register on mcc.nic.in for PG Medical Counselling after results are announced.
3. Pay the MCC registration fee and security deposit online.
4. Add SRIHER to the choice list under the preferred MD or MS speciality.
5. Download the allotment letter from the MCC portal and report to SRIHER with original documents.

SRIHER Scholarships 2026

SRIHER offers fee-waiver support for students who have strong academic records and come from economically weak backgrounds. The main scheme is the Founder-Chancellor Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, provided by the Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust.

• Founder-Chancellor Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: For students with strong merit and financial need.
• Benefit: 25 to 50 percent tuition fee waiver, decided through entrance exam performance and family income.
• Eligibility threshold: Score above the 95th percentile in the SRIHER entrance exam or meet the equivalent merit criterion.
• Scholarships are limited. Students should apply early and attach income documents with the admission papers.
