Honest and helpful review of Tripura University for everyone

What I Liked

I like about my University is here all the professor and faculty are so highly educated and so supportive to every student.
Also campus are always clean and tidy. And dress is no dress code for IMD students except BBA, M.P.Ed, MBA they have dress code for classes

What I didn’t like

I dislike about my University is there are always no empty or sitting place for students who have free hour so i request if they could make some resting room .
Some of our guards are so strict they don't allow us to enter without identification card sometimes we forgot to bring so sometimes they should consider us

Remarks:

I choose this University because it is one and only In Tripura as central University all the College come under this . So i prefer a government central University than a private college. Also it's cheaper than other colleges with good education and better facilities than college.

A good nature campus for me

What I Liked

The college’s environment I quite good from other colleges
The nature are well and the students feel free to live

What I didn’t like

Better needs of smart classrooms should be enhanced for the students
More classrooms should they build for many students

Remarks:

The college semester fees are low as compared to other colleges and better education facilities. It’s a good source for studying at lowest price as it is very low for the poor students like me who can’t afford private colleges.

It a decent university in northeast in Tripura with nice infrastructure and view

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good enough but it is not so big as compared to other central university
Faculty are decent always helpful in studying and other things also

What I didn’t like

No varcity week is being organised here nor any open concert program in this campus
Boys hostel facility is poor and only limited no.of rooms are available in this university

Remarks:

Through cuet, I was admitted to the central university of Tripura. The cuet mode is through cbt system and the preparation I have done through my Bachelor's in Art in sociology ug levels books which help me to get the university

Life in TU

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is really good and modern with high tech classrooms
The campus life is unmatchable, really good.

What I didn’t like

Although the faculty are very good, but they are very serious.
The infrastructure setup is really good except for the P.G Gents Hostel

Remarks:

I chose TU mainly because it's a good institute which is very near to my place of residence. Other than that, doing UG in an university rather than in college in itself is a unique thing plus there's a lot of experience to gain from here .

Tripura University: Explore Some Known and Unknown Facts Through the Lens of its Student.

What I Liked

Infrastructure facilities are good of the department. Classrooms are equipped with smart board, sound systems and Wi-Fi etc.
Faculties are great and humble. They are the bank of knowledge. Students can easily pass the exams if one solely focuses on the lectures.

What I didn’t like

I think the evaluation process need to be improved. Like there is lack of transparency in the evaluation of internal marks.
The distance of the department from the main road is far away. Approx 1 km one have to walk to reach the department.

Remarks:

Students have to appear for Common University Entrance Test to get admission in the university. If one is passed the cut off then he/she has to face the interview or counciling. If passed then his/her name will be placed in the merit list.

What I Liked

Infrastructure was good, faculty was excellent, campus life was good lots of memories was there. I can't forgot it
Library facilities, Sports facilities everything was good

Electricity problem but not much rather then I am not got any problem
Another is water scarcity problem. But not so much.

Yes via joint entrance examination. College is good, Central Govt., Faculty was good, library was good, Maximum numbers of books was in library, campus is very beutiful, teachers are very cooperative. Awesome college

Glimpse of TR University

What I Liked

Infrastructure is average since this ate govt. Institutions one won't find top notch building. There are normal 4floored buildings. And has separate building for separate courses. And has separate grounds and canteens and other offices administrative buildings.
Faculties are excellent, supporting, friendly and also support and guides you not only till you complete your course and also keeps touch and helps students who are good in academic along with other curriculum activities even after completing your course.

What I didn’t like

Buildings are old fashioned, not tilled floor, no lifts.
Campus is only with building, no lush green, only few trees and has a small pond which is not friendly for swimming.

Remarks:

It is a government degree College along with top English department faculties. The admission process is very simple, and the cutoff is quite friendly, to take admission in the University cuet is mandatory but in affiliated colleges, it is not that required as in the spot admission round you will get easily selected.

Tripura University: Explore Some Known and Unknown Facts Through the Lens of its Student.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is well good. The department have two big classrooms and many small classrooms. The tables are quite good to sit and the department has a smartboard with good sound system. The Department has also the lift facility with staircase.
I like the faculties of our department. They are very friendly and can say as the paramount of knowledge. They teach us not only the subject oriented knowledge but also provides the life oriented knowledge like how to deal with exam time pressure? And how can we manage them to get better marks.
Campus life is awesome, safe and enjoyable. The university has a lake where we can sit and hear the chirping of the birds and the evening sunset is awesome.

What I didn’t like

Although infrastructure is good but the department has one smartboard with sound system. That's why two semesters students can't attend the class with smartboard at the same time. For that reason, sometimes the classes are delayed.
Faculties are very much good. But the problem is in the evaluation process. We don't know how much we get in our internal and final exams and the problem in our writing quality because we directly get sgpa or cgpa only.
Campus life is good but there are so many stray dogs in the campus and the garbage system is bad.

Remarks:

Yes, we have to sit for an all-India entrance test called Common University Entrance Test and if passed the cut-off marks which vary from 80-100, then we have to appear for a counseling session or a kind of interview.

Life in Tripura University

What I Liked

The infrastructure is really good, except for the gents hostel.
Campus life in Tripura university is great. There are many programs in a month.

What I didn’t like

Faculty is a problem. Although the faculty is good but the size is small.
The P.G gents hostel is really in a bad condition.

Remarks:

It's in my home town, plus it is the best institution in Tripura for humanities students. It gives better experience than any other colleges and you get to experience the university level of education while doing a college level degree.
