What I Liked

The campus is very big and full of greenary such as trees and it have a temple also inside the campus
The faculty members are well educated and have hand on experienced in their domain domain

What I didn’t like

There are no restrictions for the other persons who are not the parts of our college they also can enter in the our campus
Some time we got some difficulty to get classrooms for the classes due to the fests or exams

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is well built there are many hostels based on the department such as arts faculty hostels science hostels commerce etc the food quality is average at the low cost budget it have canteen also in the all the hostels we can also get room outside the campus such as seergate chitaipur etc

Campus Life:

The campus life of the bhu is amazing there are many clubs and societies active on the bhu such as cinefile film society echoview society, there are many fests are celebrated such as Akansha spandan and kashiyatra , in the campus we have two types of library one is central library and another is cyber library we can issue our course books from the library it have huge sports ground for all the faculty such as arts science agriculture ets and a amphitheatre ground where we can play almost all of the games

What I Liked

There is a competition held every year between the hostels which is super fun, super competitive, and just amazing. Yes yes our university provides amouyof scholarship in every students.
Teachers are very interactive, they appreciate the students, they are very supportive, helpful. their teaching methods is good, they solve any query or doubts of students personally. experience teachers are here

What I didn’t like

Faculty are well versed and qualified but do lack industrial exposition
No financial assistant and no internship certificate given by institute.

Hostel Facilities:

Our college doesn't provide hostel i m living in private hostel will be provide soon the hostel to the students who live far away from college it can be helpful to the students locality is too good rent is not too much high.

Campus Life:

The overall experience with compous life is not as good as i expect the infrastructure of college were not so good the college were really too small and i not provide all the facilities like sports facilities club etc.

Discipline always in the campus for the students and teachers

Hostel Facilities:

Good review of campus and hostel facility Good food provide in the menu per day and the process of registeration in hostel from online and offline and the rooms are good for the students study and stay in the hostel

Campus Life:

Festival celebrations and so many cultural programs celebration conducted for the students in the College Faculty library provide for study in and books provide Sports and the extracurricular activities in the campus for students

College is overall good and best for you career.

What I Liked

The college infrastructure and faculty i liked the most.
Sports facilities is available and you can embrace your sports career.

What I didn’t like

Hostel procedure is very late and you have to stay outside the campus in starting.
You have to face huge competition in sports.

Hostel Facilities:

Yes, i have opted for hostel. The hostel room is enough for two students. You can get hostel through merit list. The mess food is eatable. The menu of the hostel is good. You will get variety in the food.

Campus Life:

The life of campus is amazing. There are many fest happens in our college. Few fests are like Akansha, Agaz and many more. These are so enjoying. Books and journals are easily available in library. Sports facilities are quite impressive.

Hostel Facilities:

The quality of rooms of our hostel can be said pretty decent, like not good but average, the quality of the food which we get to eat in our mess is pretty nice, Also the student life here is very amazing

Campus Life:

There are many extracurricular activities going on in the campus whetheer it Be regarding sports or any other cultural activities Cinephiles is the film society of BHU which is mamnged independently by students, they make independent short films and organize screenings

What I Liked

Infrastructure fame of college is best for this
Faculty is not so good so please be careful about that

Faculty is bed they are not interested in u
People are so many so there is adjustment problem

Hostel Facilities:

Fees is so affordable for first year 4800 and for second year 2900 for every alternative semester this fees is applicable if u will had very distance than u can go for chitupur side for rent room very easy to get room

Campus Life:

Best infrastructure Asia number one University that is place of spirituality so u can join for mental peace also social groups are best u will get very usefull people so there is no issue in that people are best

BHU the beauty of Banaras

What I Liked

The campus has beautiful place to hangout. It has big library Asia's biggest library. Also cyber library with more than 800 computers. The campus has Vishwanath temple. There are many tea stalls near the departments and the hostels where student of bsc to phd meet. The campus has greenary with too many trees. There are big ground where you can play. The classrooms are well equiped.There is student health care where you get free treatment. The student from all over the country come here to study. Also you have free acess of wifi so no internet problem. The each department has its own library. The well qualified faculties are there who come from IISC, and iits and also from foreign universities(done there phd from these institutes). They are very helpful to students. Basically they teach the students how to face difficult situations in life and build a strong character.
The campus life is at top. The main campus has more than 50 departments. The every department has well qualfied professors. There are fests held every year like aakansha, sports program every year. Also you can participate at university lavel games by giving trials without any prior certificates. The campus tea is of 6 to 10 rupees. There is no ragging in the whole university while the seniors are very helpful. There is gym in which more than 100 can perform at once and also there are 3 to 4 open gyms in the campus. There is mahila maha vidyalaya(MMV) in the main campus . The hostels are very beautiful and have placed at it best. Now the grounds have light facility. You can have bikes in the hostels.

What I didn’t like

There are some professors who are rude but it's okay because that number number is very less as compared to good. The department of mathematics has not a very good building and one of the classroom is not good as required. But this can be managed.
The hostels rooms are not too big but you can stay as they have enough space for two students. Sometimes the food provided in the mess is not good but still there are 2 to 3 mess where you can manage. You can not play in the grounds after 8 pm. Some students smoke and drink so I will suggest you to stay away from those groups.

Hostel Facilities:

During the time of admission they ask you on website if you need hostel then fill yes in that column then you can get hostel by your score obtained in cuet pg exam on rank basis. I got the hostel in first semester and paid fees of amount 4875 in which 2000 was security money and 2875 was hostel fee which is charged every semester. But for the mess you have to pay extra 50 per diet. And also there is canteen where they have everything you need. Hostels rooms are not too big but you can stay easily that have enough space. Hostels have daily cleaing. Sometimes the quality of food is not good but good at maximum times and there are 2 to 3 mess in a hostel so you have options also. The menu is written and you can make a change by a group students. The hostel has badminton courts, tv room, carrom, table tennis court also.

Campus Life:

The life at campus is beautiful. The campus of Bhu is Asia's second largest campus so you can hangout a lot. There are more than 60 department. There is IITbhu in it also. There is Vishwanath temple. Also every year in January and February the fest aakansha is conducted where you can participate in programs like singing, dancing, essay writing, face of fest, poetry, quizes and many more. Also every year sports programs is conducted across all the games like cricket, kabadii, football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, tug of war, running, high jump, long jump, discuss throw and many more. There are groups like abvp. And also snowdrop foundation in which they teach to poor students who can't afford teaching. You can hangout at the campus in night also. Hostel gates are mainly closed at 11pm.But after that also you can go outside if needed. Boys hostels are more flexible.

A review of banaras Hindu University

What I Liked

I like the environment of campus compared to rest of the city as our campus is more environment friendly.
Secondly i like the campus life and people seniors and batchmates , most of them are supportive and friendly

What I didn’t like

I dislike the management of our university

Hostel Facilities:

For first year i got lal bahadur shastri hostel which is good 2 people at a time shares a room, have good security and water cooler, has common washroom which is not good enough but it has geyser. Around 5000 rupees was taken for 1 year and only merit students gets the hostel. So it is pretty affordable. Talking about mess food it ranges from low to average but you get unlimited food in just 50 rupees in normal days 80 rupees on the paneer day

Campus Life:

Student life at campus is very good, as banaras Hindu University has big open campus, it has trees everywhere which looks good, infrastructure are good but maximum classes don't have good management as the benches are dusty and bills are everywhere. Social life is very good also depends on which type of people you are surrounded with. Our university has clubs for dance, singing, for upsc preparation, cinema, artist, ngo, rhetoric etc. website is pretty smooth. Many sport events occur in our colleges and also there are coaches from whom you can learn. The central library is really big and more than 1 lakh academic books are there. One can borrow books from library for ug 2 at a time and for pg 4 at a time.

BHU Experience

What I Liked

It is the major drawback of the bhu that infrastructure is not good
The building is very old and not maintained at all

What I didn’t like

The first thing is the infrastructure the buildings are old and not maintain that all
The room sir very dirty the toilets are not cleaned

Hostel Facilities:

Yes I had opted for hostel and I got it my hostel name is LBS hostel it's fees is around 4875 rs per semester. It depends weather you will enjoy the hostel or not for me it is a good choice to get in a hostel

Campus Life:

Campus the best part of the BHU everything is available inside the campus you need not to be worried much here. Throughout the campus it is all green all around you may find peacock dog and different other animals all over the campus

Infrastructure is world class , faculty is well educated and well groomed
Campus life is best in India, 1350 acres wide campus

There will be no college placement you will have to find it by your own
Irregular classes there will be no regular scheduled classed

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel mess is good by just paying 3000 p.m. you will get two time food that is lunch and dinner, canteen is also there where u will get morning and evening snacks with affordable pricing, good portion of food and good quality of food

Campus Life:

Campus life is very stunning vast campus of 1350 Acres, Asia's largest residential University , Greenery spread all along the campus and Presence of Mahadev in the heart of the University make it best campus of World!
