Review of University of Lucknow

What I Liked

Infrastructure of the college is very good campus life is also very interesting
Faculty is very support you you can get help related to your placement.

Placement Experience:

Many companies like Wipro Infosys HCL is it the college for the placement you should clear the interview for the placement in this company average package of my colleges 3 lakh per annum and highest may be 6-8 lakh per annum my plans after that degree is to secure a high paying job

Remarks:

The teacher or faculty is very supportive to the student , the admission can be taken by the entrance exam conducted by the University, eligibility for the admission is you are to pass entrance test and should eligible by the marks of class 10th and 12th and preparation is very easy you just have to know the basic of the syllabus of entrance exam

LU : the best in Lucknow.

What I Liked

I really love my college's infrastructure. It's just look like historical building.
The best thing about L U is its canteen food.

What I didn’t like

The Dean office members are very rude i can say.
Faculties are very supportive. They support students in each n every field .

Placement Experience:

The placements are of good amount here. The highest placement was around 10 to 15 lpa in pg and 5 -7 lpa in ug . Thus you can expect average 5 lakh per annum is the placement anyone can get. There are many companies that visit the university campus

Remarks:

The main reasons for choosing university of Lucknow. 1. Quality education 2. Talented professors 3. Near home 4. Best at the city . 5. Have lots of supporting faculties and management 6. Co curricular activities.

The beautiful campus life

What I Liked

My campus is so big the Vibe of the campus is so positive
The surrounding, the beauty of the college attract me
The teacher and student behaviour is so good

What I didn’t like

The irregularity of the students in classes.
Hygiene in canteen food is not so good.it's too much oily

Placement Experience:

Yes Lucknow University also provide placements and job opportunities for The eligible students My college got Highest package en placement and job opportunity for the students After getting degree I want to prepare for the government exams

Remarks:

A good environment of the college attract me to choose the college There is a examination before taking admission in the college and cut off is going to around 120/200 Basically my college provide entrance book it help students to take admission in the college But some students of the college are not regular

Glimpses of University of Lucknow

What I Liked

The thing I like about University of Lucknow is the university is spread over very large area.
The campuses amazing because it includes forest, zoology department, botany department, gardens ,Park.

What I didn’t like

Nothing I dislike about my colleges some buildings are very far away to reach from one building to another for any kind of work.
And there many kinds of canteens which are very far distance.

Placement Experience:

Placement are done by the training and placement cell inside the campus where top brand recruit the employees or students for their companies in a good offer The packages can go very high. And it includes the students over all performance.

Remarks:

The factors that made me to choose this college is simple because University of Lucknow is a central college and UGC ranking is this college comes under 100 top colleges in India And the ranking is NAAC A++.

Overall, Lucknow University offers a well-rounded social life that balances academic pursuits with cultural and recreational activities, making it an engaging environment for students.Students frequently organize informal gatherings, picnics, and outings, contributing to a friendly and inclusive atmosphere on campus

The academic reputation and ranking and faculty expertize and research opportunity made me choose this college for graduation Yep i faced entrance exam(written exam) for the admission.The university also provides residential facilities to teachers, students and non-teaching staff. Our university: A life changing part of every student's life.

What I Liked

The thing I like about my college is that they have well maintained classrooms.
Secondly I like the procedure of admission in the university.

What I didn’t like

As our university did not organises any fest or programmes.
Secondly the placement cell for bcom students.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my university is good. As the brilliant student get placed after the completion of there degree but in my course the placement cell was not good in comparison to other's degree. The companies where the students get placement are: HCL, BHEL, JIO, ZEMOSO etc.

Remarks:

For the admission in the university I go through the entrance exam. And after that I got the college in the first round of the counselling. The exam name is lucknow University entrance exam. Paper was of 100 marks and I have to tick on the OMR sheet. I prepare for the exam from Lucknow University entrance exam book. The good aspects of my college is that they held every year an entrance exam for the students. I can't say any bad aspects of my college.

ALL ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF LUCKNOW

What I Liked

Moving from 1 dep to another is pretty easy because campus offer free transportation.
For summer chilled drinking water is available nearby every department.
The culture of anti ragging is very strict.

What I didn’t like

Lack of communication. If there is any mistake in any official document it take long time to be correct.
Apply sudden changes. If there is need for changes in any aspect the university apply ASAP without informing beforehand.
Lack of professors for b.com regular student. We get PhD student as a lecturer.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in the university it offers students to apply in companies. For the placement the university organise job fair every year in which multinational companies are introduced. For internship students have to find it themselves

Remarks:

When I was taking addmission in this university I researched a lot from various websites most of them were saying that this is the one of the best state university in up. Although NAAC has given A++ rating to this university. The admission process is done by self examination ( omr type with pen paper ) .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have intrest in history, and geography. Qualification of teachers is very good almost all teachers are iit qualified. Exam level are moderated and very timely exam happens

Lucknow University from a POV of science student

What I Liked

The greenery, seperately assigned departments for each subject, punctual teachers , fresher friendly campus,
Ragging problem is considered seriously

What I didn’t like

Sometimes 2 different subject class is aligned just after the other ,which makes it a little problem to travel from one department to another
No air conditioners ,so it feels a little too hot in classes during summers

Placement Experience:

After completing my course BSC mathematics,one may continue to study MSC and PHD .many professors are passout of lucknow university and they have a salary of nearly 2lakhs per month .my personal job option is civil services,after completing my graduation degree i will start attempting for upsc ,for which I have already been into coaching for 2 years

Remarks:

It is a state university, very pocket friendly and there are regular co-curricular activities of every manner ,it has 2 campuses and are vast .An entrance exam is conducted and approximately top 5-10% students are only selected for admission

Charming university

What I Liked

Sitting capacity of the classes are good.
Library of the college is big and contains many kind of books.

What I didn’t like

Professors does not focuses on the notes.
Course of the exams are not appropriate as we compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

Internship programs are also provided in college very frequently. Stipend of internship is low but it provide the overview of corporate culture where you brings out your best and experience a lot of practical work.

Remarks:

Lucknow University is very reputed College in Lucknow. It gives you a program at very affordable prices. The infrastructure of the college is also good. In recent time University has reconstructed their library and many more places.

Majority of the courses offered are for 4 years. B.Lib.I.Sc is a 1 Year course. Postgraduate programs:- Postgraduate courses in LU M.Sc. and M.A. programs.
