Jigyasa University Dehradun admissions are open for session 2026-27. It offers UG, PG, diploma, and PhD programs across engineering, management, pharmacy, law, and commerce. UG admission is based on 10+2 merit with B.Tech requiring PCM with 45% marks, B.Pharm requiring PCB/PCM with 50% marks, and other courses like BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA, B.Ed being merit-based. PG admission requires graduation with 50% marks with selection based on merit. Application process is fully online via official portal requiring registration, form completion, document upload, and INR 1,000 application fee. B.Tech is offered in specializations like CSE, AI and ML, Data Science, IoT, and Cyber Security with 30 seats per specialization and total fees of INR 5.01 Lakhs. BA LLB is 5-year integrated program with eligibility of 10+2 with minimum 45% marks and first-year fees of INR 1.49 Lakhs. MBA is 2-year program with specializations in Finance, Marketing, HR, Aviation, Fintech, Logistics, Healthcare with total fees of INR 2.57 Lakhs to INR 3.17 Lakhs (Fintech is higher). Merit-based scholarships range from 25% to 100% on tuition fees based on Class 12 percentage. What I Liked

Campus life was so good, students can play cricket football or basketball and also they can swim in evenings.
Faculty was so good they all are phd holder and have great knowledge about there domains

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure was not so good as it is getting old but renovation is going on in university.
Canteen sitting area was small all the students can’t sit at a time in the canteen

My friend had suggested me to take admission in this college. In my college there are interviews session, gd sessions and i prepare it in the class. Also there were movk interview sessions which help in preparation of placement.

The fees factor is so affordable for middle-class students if you have 50 per cent marks in 12th you can be admitted to this college placement is not so much good below average teachers are helpful they help and guide you.

One of the best university of Dehradun

What I Liked

I like the greenery of the college and the university is always so clean.
The campus life is good with fun people here as well as fun staffs.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing much negative qualities of this university, but snakes comes out in summer rarely.
I don't like the guard of the hostel as she is rude sometimes, but the hostelites have already complaint about it.

Remarks:

Good placement and infrastructure, everything is so good about this university. The staffs are polite and good as well. There were no entrance exams needed for admission and scholarships were provided to students based on the marks of their 12th board. Overall the university is good.

What I Liked

College infra is fine, they have pool, good hostel food and safer campus
The best thing about this college is teachers specially teachers of Agriculture department

What I didn’t like

The worst thing about this college is that college life doesn’t exist here
Internet inside campus is very slow and they don’t have wifi facility for day scholars

I learned about this college from google. This university was formerly known as HIMGIRI ZEE UNIVERSITY but now it’s renamed as JIGYASA UNIVERSITY, they simply give you admission if you have at least 45% marks in your 12th and there is no entrance test required best thing is that they have the best facilities for agriculture students as compared to any other college in dehradun

Disappointing Prospects: A Critical Examination of Placement Opportunities at HZU

What I didn’t like

Campus Life was good. There used to be lot of social and cultural events so that everyone can socialize

I chose the college because of the course (BBA Aviation). I was interested in that course and this college was providing that course . There was no such exam or GD/PI to take admission in the college . You can take admission if you have passed your 12th. The administrator staff of the college approached me and told me about the course and made false promises of job guarantee and all, but in the end they didn't provide any placement
