Dairy technology is a course which is having a great future possibilitiesso it becomes a choice to choose these course. The Dairy Technology course is only studied in West Bengal University of animal and fishery Sciences which is only one in my state and also ranks second in terms of imperting quality veterinary education in India as per ICAR. Additionally my home is located 10 km distance from my University. So it's creates win win situation to choose this college naturally. No group discussions or interviews are being faced but an examination which is the written test we have to pass namely WBJEE West Bengal joint entrance examination the more the top ranks the more is the chance of getting admission in the university. In the written test maths , physics and Chemistry MCQ questions are being asked. It is a CBT examination. Students can also get admission through ICAR - Indian Council of agriculture and research examination which is a CBT MCQ physics, chemistry and Mathematics Exam.

I have been admitted with my higher secondary scores. They consider science background with good scores in Physics, Chemistry and Biology ( minimum 60% in each subject). This course prefers you to get selected for the post of Fishery Extension Officer at the block level and other central-level fishery-related posts. Through this, we can also get placement in private companies related to fisheries and aquaculture offering good monthly salaries.

I want to pursue PhD in Fisheries Economics, the course is present only in CIFE, Mumbai, TNJFU, Tamil Nadu, and WBUAFSc, Kolkata. During counselling, I got a seat in Kolkata. The college has experienced faculty dedicated to courses and thesis.

Yes. I heard about this college previously and I got admitted here by ICAR AIEEA UG2020 I have a good interest in fisheries and fish..so I want to get admitted to this college. And the good thing about this faculty is it's the best place for knowledge of the environment and the fishes which are some of the most important foods all over the world. I got admitted to this college for the ICAR AIEEA UG Exam. Now this exam is under the CUET exam. And cut-off depends on each year separately. I was preparing for all those rounds after my Higher Secondary examination.

I have been interested in Zoological science for a long...so When I heard about the Fishery I found it very interesting as it includes the underwater world. SO MORE YOu read it you will find it interesting & being a Bengali it is very normal to love Fishery.

I had come to know about this university /faculty by one of my friends just before the last date of admission. Then I did some research and saw that there is a verse aspect of this course. The seats are limited but the facilities are unlimited in this fee-structure. We took admission by HS marks. You can also take admission through ICAR exam.

This college was selected as the best fisheries college of India in the year 2019 . There are total nine departments with highly qualified professors and labs. All the departments and the instruction is also ICAR accredited. It's a very good institution in aspects of bachelor's. There are many bad aspects also in terms of infrastructure. All labs are not well equipped. Hostel facilities are not up to the mark . There is a scarcity of equipments and resources. The library is good and with lot of books but not a modern library, still relies on mannual methods .
