IIM Ranchi UG Admission 2027

IIM Ranchi offers the five-year Integrated Programme in Management through IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore. Students do not need CAT for IPM admission, and after completing the programme they receive an MBA degree from IIM Ranchi.

For the General category, the sectional CAT cutoff is 75 percentile each in VARC, DILR and QA. In each section, the cutoff is 45 for SC candidates and 25 for ST candidates.

IIM Ranchi MBA Selection Criteria 2026

The MBA selection process has two stages. In the first stage, IIM Ranchi shortlists candidates for the Personal Interview only if they clear both sectional and overall CAT cutoffs. CAT score, academic profile and diversity are used for this shortlist.

In the second stage, the final list is prepared through a composite score.

IIM Ranchi PhD Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet any one of the following academic conditions.

  • Master’s degree or PG diploma with First Class in any discipline.
  • Four-year B.Tech or B.E. with at least 6.5 CGPA or equivalent.
  • CA/ICWA/CS with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 55% aggregate across all public examinations from Class 10 onward.
