The placements are average compared to other NITs but we can get decent package in the on campus placement. The training and placement cell is very active and always helps students to attain their skills . And every week there will be some workshop for placements for 3rd and 4th year students.

In our college (National Institute of Technology Puducherry) there will be good placements . The job opportunity will be very good. There will be placement representative they will email the HR's and give placements.

I plan to get placed on the campus itself If not with the skills learned and internships and projects done I can manage by getting even outside and I also prepare for the gate that also helps with my placement and job opportunities.

To be on safer side maintain at least a 7.5 cgpa and just do your best. Be stand out of the crowd do new things and explore yourself. Companies only take really smart people. So be in that category. Placements overall are average.

Placements actually depends more on your talent. Here companies are coming to hire students every year and if you have done enough efforts you will grab a good job easily. In case you couldn't got job you can try off campus with the NIT tag with you.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements
