NIT Manipur B.Tech Admission

The B.Tech programme has 5 specialisations: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Its total fee is INR 5.78 lakhs. Admission depends on the applicant's JEE Main performance and the seat allotted through JoSAA counselling.

NIT Manipur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secure 75%.
• They must appear for JEE Main.

NIT Manipur B.Tech Selection Process

• Students first take the JEE Main examination.
• After the JEE Main result, they register for JoSAA counselling and complete the seat allocation process.

NIT Manipur M.Tech Admission

Students can choose from 8 M.Tech specialisations: Computer Science & Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, VLSI Design & Embedded System, Communication and Signal Processing, Environment & Water Resource Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The programme fee is INR 1.85 lakhs. A valid GATE score is required, and seats are assigned through CCMT counselling.

NIT Manipur M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Students need a graduation degree in a relevant field, such as B.E. or B.Tech.
• They must have at least 60% in the qualifying degree.

NIT Manipur M.Tech Selection Criteria

• Applicants must sit for the GATE examination.
• They must submit a separate registration for CCMT counselling.

NIT Manipur M.Sc Admission

NIT Manipur runs M.Sc courses in 3 specialisations: Mathematics and Computing, Chemistry and Physics. The total M.Sc fee is INR 68,600. Applicants are admitted through IIT JAM and must subsequently join CCMN counselling.

NIT Manipur M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants need a graduation degree in a relevant subject, such as B.Sc.
• A minimum score of 60% is required.

NIT Manipur M.Sc Selection Criteria

• Students must take the IIT JAM examination.
• They need to register separately for CCMN counselling.

The CCMN process consists of 3 regular rounds and a special round for vacant seats. Each round covers registration, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting to the assigned institute. For MCA admission at participating NITs, applicants qualify through NIMCET and then follow the NIMCET counselling schedule.

NIT Manipur PhD Admission

The PhD programme is available in 9 specialisations: Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication and Humanities and Social Science. Selection is based on GATE, UGC NET, CSIR NET or the institute's entrance examination, followed by a personal interview. The total programme fee is INR 1.85 lakhs.

NIT Manipur PhD Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants who have recently completed B.E., B.Tech. or B.Arch. in a relevant field may apply for direct entry.
• Those holding a relevant master's degree can seek lateral entry.
• Applicants may also qualify by providing proof of GATE, UGC NET, CSIR or a fellowship.

• The Departmental Selection Committee selects students through a written test and personal interview.

NIT Manipur Cutoff 2025

NIT Manipur JEE Main Cutoff 2025

The General category B.Tech cutoff has been released for 2025. Computer Science Engineering recorded a closing rank of 166719 in Round 1 and 195740 in Round 2. The cutoff table places 195740 under Round 5. Electronics & Communication Engineering closed at 233574 in Round 1 and 277952 in Round 5.

NIT Manipur GATE Cutoff 2025

The 2025 General category GATE cutoff ranged from 350 to 485. In Round 1, M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering had a cutoff of 485, while Structural Engineering had 419.

NIT Manipur IIT JAM Cutoff 2025

The General category IIT JAM cutoff is available for 2025. Round 1 closed at 1359 for M.Sc Mathematics and Computing and 1822 for M.Sc Chemistry.
