RGUKT is an autonomous university, created by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh & is recognised by the UGC. It provides full-time, residential MTech & PhD courses in addition to an integrated BTech curriculum in seven different areas. Graduates of RGUKT (IIITs) are anticipated to have employment opportunities comparable with those of other top universities in India. RGUKT Admission FAQs

Ques: What documents must students bring with them for verification if they are chosen for counseling at RGUKT?

Ans: The following must be carried by candidates in three sets, along with original paperwork.

  • Statement of marks for the RGUKT CET
  • Certificate of Residence, 10th Class, RGUKT Rank Card
  • if necessary, a caste certificate
  • EWS certification, if necessary

Ques: Does RGUKT offer a free education?

Ans: All applicants must pay the required application, registration, and refundable caution fees. SC/ST candidates must pay a somewhat lower amount, however they are still required to pay the caution fee. The government may transfer the appropriate amount of the scholarship into the student's bank account based on the category. The university then compares this sum to the candidate's fees. In addition to deductions from the scholarship, the candidate is responsible for paying any outstanding debts. RGUKT also helps the students initially set up the bank account.

Ques: How is the RGUKT B. Tech course curriculum?

Ans: The two-year Pre-University Course (PUC) and four-year Engineering Course make up the integrated B. Tech programme. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Telugu, and Information Technology make up the PUC. The candidate may select from one of the seven available BTech specializations after successfully completing PUC. The tests are given in a descriptive and optional format.

Ques: What standards does RGUKT use to allocate branches?

Ans: Through an online procedure set up by RGUKT, the candidate is given the branch of their choice based on merit. The number of students passing the PUC course determines the number of seats available for each branch. These are the approximate numbers of seats for each branch.

Ques: What positions are available for internships at RGUKT?

Ans: Students at RGUKT are encouraged to participate in long-term or summer internships that are related to their academic objectives. The student may participate in internships at businesses or in-house for a minimum of six weeks. After clearing the tests and interviews, students can be considered for the internship. Some internships also provide a salary.

Ques: Does RGUKT's campus include accommodations for physically challenged students?

Ans: Yes, 3% of the total seats available for admission are set aside for students with physical disabilities. These students can also enjoy a comfortable environment thanks to the campus infrastructure. The institution's buildings are equipped with amenities for physically challenged students, including lifts, ramps, walking aids, wheelchairs, and aids for movement from one building to another.
