The main factor that made me choose this college was that i wanted to study B.Tech CSE and it was really hard for me to get this branch in other colleges considering my JEE score and i didn't want to take a drop. Also Bhubaneswar is A place where i have relatives and they suggested it's an it's overall good college. Xavier Engineering Selection Test (XEST) is the exam that is conducted through which they select the students. It includes the syllabus of 12th grade. After the test there is a PI round taken by the faculties to know more about you.

XIM has a very good reputation for commerce and business courses, so that was a plus point for me. For admission I was asked to give a personal intervies online, for which I researched the internet about questions which may be asked in the PI.

Xavier itself is a brand and XIMB is one of the most renowned institute in India that is why I was interested to join the college I have always heard from my relatives and elder brother and sister that XI MB is a very renowned institute and that is why I join the college

The practical approach Of learning. The Studio set up the equipments that they provide us to learn. That admission procedure is very simple. You just have to register yourself, and then you’ll be located with the timing for an interview and that’s it.

There was an interview round I'm which we need to qualify. It's not that tough but easy one. Faculty of college takes the interview. Offline admission option is also there. It's interview round is for every Course.

The college stood out in the sphere of practical learning, it provides infrastructure for all the industry level learning. The admission process includes a form and the academic criteria is 50% aggregate in your +2. Then an interview is scheduled which will be the selection round for the students. Basic questions like why do the students choose the course and other domain related questions are asked, which must be prepared well by the students before the examination. I focused on general awareness of my domain, i.e., mass communication , where i focused on current affairs and my speaking skills. The interviewers focus on how confident are you, and your opinions on certain matters. Just being aware of your surroundings will get you saved here.

Brand name, placement and faculties were good . Yes there was written test followed by interview and gds . The college has outstanding infrastructure and more than 30 years old ,and XIMB comes under the premier college category

There is no exam for taking admission to any UG course in this college. You have to only register for the course from their website and they will reach out to you. There is a small interview where they want to know you, your hobby, where are you from, etc. (The interview is not an interview where they are going to select you as per your performance in the interview). If you have registered for the UG course, you are already selected. They only want your money. Yes, but you have to score a minimum of 60% in your 12th. The campus or the environment is good. But the university is filled with toxic people. Not all but many. Once you have been admitted, they are not going to listen to you. The course fee for B.Tech CSE is 101000 per semester (excluding hostel fee). Do not know about other courses. The hostel fee is 20000 per semester. The hostel in charge is more toxic than everyone. He will penalize the whole hostel for a simple problem like if the elevator switch is broken or like that.
