Cluster university review

What I Liked

The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and speakers and the labs are equipped with advance technology instruments.
The faculty is well qualified and are very kind and helpful.

What I didn’t like

No annual events or fests are organised by the university
The campus is to small compared to other university campuses

Placement Experience:

No such great campus placements are provided. However, some small placements are provided and the minimum qulification for the placement is Masters in the required course. The average package is around 50000 and around 10 students can make up to the placements.

Internships Opportunities:

The Internship is provided in he last semester and I am currently in 8th semester and as per my knowledge the internship is provided by the CSIR IIIM Jammu. But I don’t have any knowledge about the internship.

What I Liked

Review of the Cluster University of Jammu

What I Liked

Well qualified faculty and they are very helpful
Well equipped labs with all the equipments

What I didn’t like

University campus is not very big as compared to other universities
There is no hostel facility for now but maybe in future there will be hostels

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are conducted in the campus based on the performance of the students. Well I don't know the exact number of offers but 2 placement drives were conducted for Botany students in January.

Internships Opportunities:

I will be undergo an internship in the last semester of my course. Currently I am in 8th semester and the internship will be conducted at CSIR-IIIM Jammu under the guidance of highly qualified Professionals

About the GGM COLLEGE

What I Liked

The sports facilities are too good we also get chances to play for our university
The ncc is the best thing i like we learn unit and discipline there

What I didn’t like

The building are very old and need to be redesigned
We need a swimming pool in our like in MAM College so we can prepare for olympics

Placement Experience:

As i am in 1st year of the college so I don't have good knowledge about the placements but i have Heard from our seniors that placements are only for last year students and when i will be in last year i will update my review.

Internships Opportunities:

I am in 1st year so i didn't get a chance to attend any internship but our seniors got a chance to attend the internships and that attended the internship in iit jammu and other companies this a very a lot to students

My college

What I Liked

Classes are very comfortable . Smart boards are provided in classes which helps us to study in a easy way
I think there's best faculty in our college as every teacher is so understanding and they teach us each and every topic in easy and simplest way

What I didn’t like

Generators are not provided in our college so there's a lot of problems in studying when the light goes off
In summers some fans of our class don't work also ac is not provided in our classes but I hope our college work on it in future

Placement Experience:

For placement in our college one should clear net exam and complete there phd then only they can become professor in our college After completing my msc I have also thought to complete my phd after clearing net exam Our teachers also guide us how to study about net exam also

Internships Opportunities:

After completing msc and then clearing net exam students get a scholarship of 20,000 per month but for that it's compulsory to clear net exam first. Then a student can use the scholarship money for buying books and further study in phd

It’s all a honest and personal review

What I Liked

The behaviour of faculty is very good staff is also very helpful their teaching methods are very good in order to learn new things quickly they meet the students learning standards very effectively and making them understand things quickly
Other thing I liked about the college is the campus the campus is quite big benches are there in parks for students to sit under in warm as well as cold temperatures so that a good social environment is established in college

What I didn’t like

Canteen availability as there is only 1 or 2 canteen available in campus that are always run out of the items so that should be improved to provide meals to the students that come from distant areas
Parking management is also a concern no camera are there in parking areas that also lead to mishaps of like helmet stealing even my own 2 helmets are stolen from that area

Placement Experience:

The jobs are there for students with technical degrees and even those students are not satisfied with the placement as no such big name companies comes to college for jobs placement hence students are not satisfied with placement

Internships Opportunities:

I haven’t opted for internship because I was enrolled in a bachelor degree and it was not a technical degree so no internships were provided at that time for non technical degrees so the internship never took place

Honest review about Cluster university of jammu

What I Liked

faculty is very highly qualified and very cooperative.
college campus is very big and the vibe of the campus is very perfect.

What I didn’t like

the thing i dislike about the campus is that there is always construction going on .
the same complaint about the campus as there is also construction going on

Placement Experience:

the placement and job opportunities in this college are very good as this is a govt. operated college but if there is no job offered to me I have a family business also ill joint that but most probably I'll get a college job.

Internships Opportunities:

Right now I'm in 3 semesters. the internship program will start once I'm in the 4th semester. but yes there are internships in our college and they are very fun as I've asked our seniors about that. They all said it was very fun.

What I Liked

Faculty is really cooperative and collaborative.
Campus life is fun and you'll have the chance to make a lot of beautiful memories along the way.

What I didn’t like

Curriculum can get a little burdensome sometimes and keeping up with it can cause a burnout
Infrastructure was not that great during my time in college but it has definitely improved a lot in recent years.

Placement Experience:

A lot of webinars are conducted in college by various recruiters to facilitate students' decision making for the choice of their career, a lot of internship opportunities will be presented too. But I'm not sure about the placement record because most people choose not to enter the job market right after their graduation so if placement is what you are looking for, this college might not be the best choice.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are usually opted for by students during the last year hence I couldn't join any internship program because my third year in college was in 2020 at the height of COVID, so I missed out on that opportunity.

Reality check of cluster universty of jammu

What I Liked

No attendance burden this college dont put burden of 75 percent attendance on the students thus making study a but easier
You also have multiple classes of same subject so if you have missed any class in the morning due to some important work you cab re take it in the evening shift

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of the college is below average you dont have any kind of smart class apart from this the normal classrooms are never renovated class rooms also lack AC and fans making it difficult for the students to study
The faculty of this college is not good at their job . They are not good in their teaching methods and are very rude they dont even use any modern means to teach their subjects

Placement Experience:

Placement and intership is a alien concept for this college you dont have any recruiters here no company have ever visited this college for the sake of placement and the college do nothing for this all you can rely is on govt jobs that too after the completion of your on going course

Internships Opportunities:

This college dont have options for any type of internship thus i havent dont one till know there is no one in the whole college who would tell about how to approach a company for a internship thus students here lack the knowledge about how to get an internship

Cluster University of Jammu released a notice on Nov 7 2024 for admission to PhD 2024. The last date to Apply is Nov 24, 2024. The university is offering PhD in Chemistry, Commerce, English, Geology, Mathematics, and Physics. The viva voce and interview will be conducted on Nov 29, 2024.
