I took admission in college in 2020 for graduation and at that time there was corona so our admissions were held by our 12th percentage After that I continued my msc from the same college and to continue msc I have cleared cuet exam
From 10th class only I had a great interest in mathematics so I decided to do my graduation in maths honors and after completing my graduation i got more interest in maths due to the teachers in our college as they are so good so I decided to pursue my msc from the same college To become a professor in our college one should clear net exam and all the teachers in our college are really so good In my msc we have 3 exams Firstly minor 1 where there comes only 1 unit After that minor 2 where there comes 2 unit And lastly in majors there comes unit 3,4,5 in section B and short answers from unit 1,2 in section A
After completing msc and then clearing net exam students get a scholarship of 20,000 per month but for that it's compulsory to clear net exam first. Then a student can use the scholarship money for buying books and further study in phd
For placement in our college one should clear net exam and complete there phd then only they can become professor in our college After completing my msc I have also thought to complete my phd after clearing net exam Our teachers also guide us how to study about net exam also
Our college yearly fees is 18110 No tuitions are available in our college so no tuition fees In our college the fees for general students is 18110 yearly and fees is same for sc st also but after completing there degree sc st students are refunded all their fees they paid till there particular degree or course
In our college many functions are celebrated like mathematics day, dogri diwas and many more where students are willing to participate in speech after that prizes and refreshments are also given In our library every subject book is available Classrooms are also really good with comfortable chairs and tables There's no social group or club in our college
I live near college only 10 minutes away so there's no need of hostel for me so I have no knowledge about hostels but as my friends live in hostel they told me that the hostel facilities are also like ok ok but the mess food is not that much good in taste
For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro, infuses, bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.
Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
