- Well qualified faculty and they are very helpful
- Well equipped labs with all the equipments
Dislikes
- University campus is not very big as compared to other universities
- There is no hostel facility for now but maybe in future there will be hostels
Remarks :
As I was enrolled in an Integrated program( UG + PG) which is a 5 year program ( 3 years for UG and 2 years for PG) , our selection process was based on our percentage in 12th and no written test was conducted at that time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because there is a 6 months internship in the last i.e. 10th semester. The faculty is Phd qualified with very good experience and the classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and Speakers for better audio quality. The timing of exams are not fixed. Mostly the exams are conducted after 4 months.
Internships Opportunities :
I will be undergo an internship in the last semester of my course. Currently I am in 8th semester and the internship will be conducted at CSIR-IIIM Jammu under the guidance of highly qualified Professionals
Placement Experience :
Placement drives are conducted in the campus based on the performance of the students. Well I don't know the exact number of offers but 2 placement drives were conducted for Botany students in January.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fee is Rs 20170 For Integrated course ( This course will not be available as it is not included in NEP, I am a CBCS student that's why I am in Integrated course) Registration fees was Rs 250 I have no idea about the caution and lab fee
Campus Life :
Actually , I have never experienced any fest in our campus which is the con of this university and infrastructure is not quite good. The atmosphere is quite good, professors are very friendly and helpful. There is a central Library where every useful books and journals are available. There are occasional sports activities.

For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

Course Curriculum Overview :
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
