- No attendance burden this college dont put burden of 75 percent attendance on the students thus making study a but easier
- You also have multiple classes of same subject so if you have missed any class in the morning due to some important work you cab re take it in the evening shift
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is below average you dont have any kind of smart class apart from this the normal classrooms are never renovated class rooms also lack AC and fans making it difficult for the students to study
- The faculty of this college is not good at their job . They are not good in their teaching methods and are very rude they dont even use any modern means to teach their subjects
Remarks :
The main reason for me to choose this college was its location. this college is situated near my home town thus makinh it easier for me to travel around but from a academic point of view the college is a full zero you got 0 placement assurance not only this but the quality of teachers that you get here is also low talking about the admission process its very simple if your name got in the cut off list then youll get a mail from the college with you counselling venue time and date you have to go that venue and youll get to choose your desired subject there only if they are available
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course that i am studying is BA this course is good if you are looking to give exams such as upsc sate pcs etc .talking about the faculty in the college i would say that all of them are just average and using old school methods to teach there is not smart class in the entire college class rooms are full of dust and furniture as old as 30 years . Fee per year of a BA course is 9880 you can get financial aid by scholarships such as one run for NSP
Internships Opportunities :
This college dont have options for any type of internship thus i havent dont one till know there is no one in the whole college who would tell about how to approach a company for a internship thus students here lack the knowledge about how to get an internship
Placement Experience :
Placement and intership is a alien concept for this college you dont have any recruiters here no company have ever visited this college for the sake of placement and the college do nothing for this all you can rely is on govt jobs that too after the completion of your on going course
Campus Life :
The most average part of the whole college is its social life . This college dont have any sort of clubs or group nothing not at all apart from this the college do not organise any type of fest for the student not only this but you dont have any kind of freshers or farewell so basically its just a college with no social life and the college organisation do nothing to make it better for the students

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
