Ques. What are the academic qualifications required for applying to the UG courses in APCC Kolkata?
Ans. The academic qualifications required to apply for BA/BSc/B.Com in APCC Kolkata are:
- The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination, with Engish as one of the subjects.
- They should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% and 45% in the subject or related subject/ overall 55% in the subject or related subject/ minimum 50% in aggregate if the candidate has not studied the subject in the previous qualifying exam.
- The candidates should not have a lapse of more than 3 years, from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.
Ques. How many seats are available for PG courses in APCC Kolkata and how many of them are reserved seats?
Ans. There are a total of 190 seats for PG, distributed over 5 MSc courses in India.
- 60% of the total seats in all the subjects are reserved for graduates from the college affiliated with West Bengal State University.
- The remaining 40% of the total seats are for candidates belonging to other universities or colleges.
- The seat reservation for ST/ SC/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD candidates is as per the Govt. rules.

Ans. No, the institute does not allow admission to candidates who have a lapse of more than 2 years from the year of passing their previous qualifying examination.

Ans. Yes, APCC Kolkata does offer BBA (Honours), but it is a self-financing course. So if the number of applicants for this course is less than 50, then the college will not be in a position to run this course.
