Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties are very helpful. They helps students in studies. Every 6 months there is semester exams. Difficulty levels depends on subjects and students. I love nature, animals so i selected Zoology. Proper labs are available.

Remarks:

This college has gained A++ from NAAC, which is the main reason for me to choose this college. And moreover, many of my relatives and family members had passed from this college. And this college is somewhat near my house.

College Life in Behala college

What I Liked

Our college have very huge campus a big pond with a garden filled with various of trees and plants which makes it very cool to hangout in off periods and breaks and also a big Basketball court where players practice.
Our mess also have various types of food to offer which is better hygiene maintained along with serving soft drinks and also tea/coffee

What I didn’t like

The timings sometimes clash with few other departments and teachers except our own departments sometimes remain unbothered if we miss class or not.
Rooms in 1st floor is not much renovated as 3rd floor so I think being a A++ college the authorities should renovate the rooms for lower floors where the wall and ceiling are not in good condition.

Placement Experience:

Usually students complete BSc and give other competitive exams for MSc to study out of city. Some department offer MSc too depending on SGPA . And considering placements on basis of that most get employed in Private companies though it is a government aid college Companies look for PhD students not just Bsc MSc completed students and also Students generally look for becoming Professors in University by giving UgC Net exam. But according to college website the placement record for year 2021 and 2022 is 70%

Remarks:

No tests were taking in admission to this college. You need to perform well in class 12 on the particular subject related to the course you want to apply. Merit list is created for each students depending on the marks they scored in class 12.From 2024 our Chief minister had organized a single website linking to all colleges falling under Calcutta University and other universities too.The student need to fill in that website and select the colleges they want to apply for after few days merit list is created and the college list which they created,from there a college is given to them depending on the number of seats left.

Review about Behala college

What I Liked

I like the library because I can read and write there without any disturbance. .
I like the campus life because I get many sports to play in my leisure time

What I didn’t like

I don't like my college canteen because there is lot of noise make my student. And the quality of food is not good .
Our college playground is only one so we face some problems to play the games.

Placement Experience:

In college website there is placement cell option from there you can get the opportunities for placement and Job. There is campus placement is also there . There highest package is 6LPA And the average package is 2.5 LPA. Yes I have a plan to sit in the college placement.

Remarks:

I choose this college because of its NAAC ranking. The NAAC Ranking of our is A grade now our college achieved A++ NAAC ranking. I discussed with my friends to this college. There is no interview or written tests for admission. You can take admission directly with online mod only.

Review about college.

What I Liked

The location of College and availability of transportation system from colleges along with positive environment.
Faculty was quite good of cs dept .Here we have experienced teachers.

What I didn’t like

They should arrange outdoor sports like cricket and football.
They should .make students more industry ready

Placement Experience:

This is a Honours specified college .Here you will get placements from some banks but not like b tech colleges .Yes you can try on your own from off campus jobs but here you can get proper education for further education or jobs.

Remarks:

The admission was through 12 th hs marks.The distance of college from my home was close apart from that the positive environment of the college with good friends and teachers was overwhelming.The campus was overall ok.
