- The location of College and availability of transportation system from colleges along with positive environment.
- Faculty was quite good of cs dept .Here we have experienced teachers.
Dislikes
- They should arrange outdoor sports like cricket and football.
- They should .make students more industry ready
Remarks :
The admission was through 12 th hs marks.The distance of college from my home was close apart from that the positive environment of the college with good friends and teachers was overwhelming.The campus was overall ok.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The recent availability of jobs and opportunities in technical fields inspired me to choose this field of computer science .Here per year you have to give two semesters and the difficulty of exam was moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No I am currently pursuing MCA so I have not enrolled in any internship from here .ButThey held seminars regarding cyber security and web development for development and betterment of students.In final sem of cs we have to build our own website as a project.
Placement Experience :
This is a Honours specified college .Here you will get placements from some banks but not like b tech colleges .Yes you can try on your own from off campus jobs but here you can get proper education for further education or jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees was 10k-11k in odd semesters and 5k-6k in even semesters and offcourse there was fees cutoff for sc/st students .You can avail snvcm scholarship or kanyasree scholarship.The lab fees was adjusted along with the fees which was like 2000 rupees.
Campus Life :
The main attraction of college was digital e library.The library is quite good with sufficient books and superb condition.Here college has their basketball team and they arrange sports events in December and also freshers and farewell in the month of dec-jan.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
