Remarks :
This college has gained A++ from NAAC, which is the main reason for me to choose this college. And moreover, many of my relatives and family members had passed from this college. And this college is somewhat near my house.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are very helpful. They helps students in studies. Every 6 months there is semester exams. Difficulty levels depends on subjects and students. I love nature, animals so i selected Zoology. Proper labs are available.
Internships Opportunities :
In our syllabus we had a summer internship, which was without stipend internship, basically that internship was given in the syllabus just for our practical knowledge and to know some hands on works related to our subjects. Our topic was BIO-CONSERVATION & BIOSTATISTICS which includes field work, data collections, species collections, bird watching, water quality analysis, some biostatistical knowledge and many more... and at the end we need to prepare a report and had a viva exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are 2 semesters per year, In the odd semesters (i.e. sem 1,3 & 5) the fees is comparatively more than the even semesters (i.e. sem 2, 4 & 6). The approx. fees for odd semesters are around 9-10k and for even semesters are around 4-6k. No such extra charges are taken from students, only a very few amounts need to may for the excursion (field work). During exams students need to pay only the registration fees or the examination fees. This college provides governmental scholarships, student credit card facilities for the students.
Campus Life :
Campus is nice, all seniors are cooperative and kind, college have NCC and NSS units for students, who are interested can join those units. Many extracurricular activities are also there like: photography, drone, crafts, paintings, drama and many more.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
