The placement opportunities are there but not that much there are internships offered to us by our college to selected students and they are nice I plan to work as an accountant in a firm after this degree and do my mba after this

The college conduct a placement drive where a number of companies visit to chose suitable candites after a couple of round of interview. TCS, Wipro, Tech-Mahindra, Flipkart & Amazon are few of such companies who visit the college for the placement drive offereing salaries to suitable candidates ranging from 1.5LPA to 4LPA

Placements are good compared to other colleges offering B.com. Myself was placed in TCS after completing graduation with my 4 to 5 batchmates.Other companies also hire from HCC this college has very strong alumni network

The course structure is very good. The teachers of this college is one of the finest teachers in kolkata not only kolkata in west bengal also. Every teachers are very helpful and gentle. They solve our every study problems. And the non teaching staff I mean the office staffs are very helpful.

Since it's a government college we can't expect best of the best facilities but everything provided is fully functional and well maintained. Also yes the exams are always taken in time since it's under the Calcutta University which is fairly difficult in ny opinion.

The faculty members are great and supportive. I Have chosen this course because this course has a wide range of topics regarding accounting, business, and management. The college takes mid-term tests and internal tests levels of the tests are medium to hard the college has a strict rule regarding attendance.

The eligibility criteria are also very basic which has a CGPA of 5 minimum and scored good marks also having hard and soft skills matters a lot. The percentage of students getting placements is more than 50%. I plan to land a job of my dreams.

Our college has almost no campus placement. But sometimes companies like Grand Thornton, PWC, and Accenture visit for campus placement. You have to pass the ongoing course for campus placement. In 2015 highest package offered was 800000 to a b.com student. The average package varies between 3-5 lacs.

Eligibility criteria for getting Placement is that the student needs to be in the final year without any supple in the previous years. During 2023 Airtel, TCS and ICICI Bank came for offering job to the students. Since I have decided to pursue with CA after my graduation I didn't participated in the placement program. The Average and highest package ranges from 60000-200000 depending upon what's the company is willing to offer you. BUT ITS NOT RECOMMENDED TO SIT IDLE WAIT FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT SINCE ITS A GOVERNMENT SPONSORED COLLEGE PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES IS NOT GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS EVERY SINGLE YEAR. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT THE STUDENT MUST AFTER COMPLETING GRADUATION SEARCH FOR A JOB BY HIS OWN.

Job interview is take place over the year for graduate students. But there is no guaranted job placement opportunity assured by college authority. It could be improved in future by authority. It will be very helpful for students.
