What I Liked

The infrastructure is amazing with great facilities
The crowd is good, everyone is kind especially the faculty.

What I didn’t like

Playground should've been provided no else complaint

Placement Experience:

The placements are great. Companies like Delloitte and JP Morgan have come to hire. The packages are very well too, starting from 1.5LPA to 8 LPA for freshers. It is amazing. Moreover, it helps the students to work hard

All about Mithibai college, Mumbai

What I Liked

I really appreciate the faculty of mithibai. The knowledge acquired and exceptional delivery of that knowledge is really amazing.
The existence of so many clubs is really beneficial as it helps students grow from very first day of the college.
Laboratories for practical learning and huge library to study from morning 8 am to evening 7pm really helps for focused learning.
The air-conditioned classrooms and seminar halls where is experts like ceo of paytm, zomato come in to talk is quite amazing.

What I didn’t like

It would be good if there was a separate campus for just Mithibai as the current one includes many more other colleges.
If there were more field visits in every subject it would help in practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Yes there are placement and internship provided at college. There are many big firms that come with placement offers. Some of which are Tata group, JP MORGAN, EY. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester. Average package offered is 5-6LPA. Different kind of roles are offered in all fields like finance, marketing and HR.

Internships Opportunities:

There are internships provided within mumbai and also remote work. Average stipend is 10000-12000. Offers are made by startups and also companies established 10-15 years ago. Some offers are also made by huge companies like Deloitte.

Mithibai college for B:Com ( Accounting and Finance )

What I Liked

The infrastructure of the college was very nice as it had all air conditioned classrooms along with projectors. It had also gymkhana where games like table tennis , carrom etc were played.
The curriculum of the course was upto industry standards

What I didn’t like

The attendance criteria of 75% has to be maintained otherwise they would debar The students from appearing semester exams.
The exams of the college were Held early compared to other colleges and there were no holidays between the exams

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated placement cell called Mithibai entrepreneurship and placement cell which is managed by students and non teaching staff. The regular placement companies includes big 4 accounting firms like Deloitte, Pwc,KPMG, Ey for hiring analysts .

Internships Opportunities:

No as I was undergoing CA articleship I did not opted for placement but some students in my class had undergone internships in CA firms as a financial analysts where the stipend used to be Rs.5000 per month.

experience in Mithibai college as an outsider

What I Liked

the faculty members are sweet intelligent and helping and the campuses also very beautiful there are multiple events happening every single day and you will have a lot of networking done
near the college there are multiple food stalls and famous places of Mumbai like Juhu Beach along side there are multiple celebrities coming in Mitchell college for promotion to

What I didn’t like

a time you feel way to crowded because of the amount of people in the college and the crowd is mix so you need to find out the right people so you sometime features are not able to focus because of the amount of people in the class

Placement Experience:

as I am a first year student imay not have the right information but made by to provide with internship and job opportunities which is good to heard from my seniors.completely depends on what degree your choosing

Internships Opportunities:

as of the first year it's not necessary to do and internship but by the second year you must do and internship which is either provided by the college or you need to find it on your own in Mumbai finding an interesting is easy

Sweet Memory of Mithibai

What I Liked

Well i have really good memories with mithibai’s campus we friends use to have maggie during lec’ break. It was fun.

What I didn’t like

Um well the only thing i dislike about faculty is the admission staff they really rude, and sometimes there’s alot of event’s going on in campus so it gets annoying.

Placement Experience:

No there’s not Placement but the teachers had told us to do internships so our friend group had decided to find internships but we somehow managed to get an internship at a lab through a friend’s help and the experience was pretty good.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes i did applied internship and it wasn’t paid but gained a good experience and it helped me boost my studies and also helped me gaining confidence during practicals i was able to do them more quickly and with more perfection.

Mithibai college honest review

What I Liked

I like the campus I think it’s very spacious and I love the outside seating place I love to study there. I like the canteen the food is amazing. I think the college events are always so full of life and energy.
And the faculty members are nice and helping as well

What I didn’t like

I don’t really like their attendance system as it’s too strict and most times their system is at fault for putting in the wrong attendance
I don’t like their system that you have to Get certain marks and be at the top Of your class to continue with your preferred subject in the 2nd year

Internships Opportunities:

I haven’t had any experience in internship field yet but I have heard from seniors that in the summer break you need to do an internship wherever it is and find it ok your own, so I’m aware that the college doesn’t give internship opportunities itself

Mithibai a underrated gem!!

What I Liked

The computer labs are well-equipped with high-speed internet, making research and assignments easy to complete.
Faculty and placement cell is good , helpful

What I didn’t like

The college has good facilities, but parking is a major issue. .
Campus Life is missing due to unavailability of Play ground

Placement Experience:

My college has great placements A placement cell trains students for interviews Many companies visit campus Mock interviews and job fairs help students Internships give experience Teachers guide students for a successful career

Internships Opportunities:

No Iam not opted for any intership till now, but in second year definitely.Companies like JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, ICICI , Finance companies come here and many big companies.Stipend is like 20000-150000

Mithibai summarised

What I Liked

The infrastructure is really nice, they have around 18-20 lifts and good and clean washrooms and also they have smart boards and other laboratories
The campus life: as such they do not have campus but they do provide a lot of opportunities to become a part of festivals like Kshitij and Finanza and increase your network and skill

What I didn’t like

In Infrastructure they do not have a large campus and sports facility
The facilities that B.cOm has is mostly old and sometimes it becomes difficult to relate and connect with them

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria for most placement is above 7 gpa, and all the big 4s and other companies have also visited with good packages, highest package is around 19lpa and Lowest will be 2.2 lpa, percentage is low as people mostly go for higher studies

Internships Opportunities:

Yes they have several opportunities for internship although I didn't went for the on campus internship they all were good and from good companies like Zomato etc as well, the roles that they provided were in operations and mostly sales not a lot of tinance

Mithibai rula dega- khushi ke aasu

What I Liked

There's a lot to like and a lot less to hate. The infrastructure of the college is great and is maintained frequently. The college building has around 16 functioning lifts and every lift has a doorman. There are peons assigned to every floor so that hygiene is maintained. Toilets are never too unhygienic, working pad dispensers on every floor with a dustbin in every single stall. Overall the infrastructure is very good. The faculty as I mentioned is simply amazing and very dedicated to providing the students with a good experience. The campus life has been very fulfilling and sometimes even a little hectic with so many clubs, so many places to be, so many friends and so many fun things to do. The game stalls, gaming events, movie screenings, seminars, debates, etc. Always keep the college brimming with life. The crowd is pretty decent too. It’s actually very diverse so it really just depends on who you choose to hangout with.

What I didn’t like

Not a lot to dislike but sometimes the study load along with assignments, club activities and personal life can be overwhelming. It can be difficult to manage all things at once especially if you're unfortunate and have even one bad faculty. The admin office is a pain in the ass to even talk to. As a new student you have a ton of questions that only the admin office can answer. They treat their jobs like they're doing us favors which is extremely annoying. Getting a simple railway concession can take you 4 hours, thanks to the admin office.
If you belong to a normal middle class family, tread carefully, it's okay to feel insecure looking at the sobo people with their drivers, latest Iphones and Stanley cups. There are better people around, find them, interact, they'll actually help you grow. Not to say the sobo crowd will not, from personal experience, the sobo tends to not take life and career very seriously and it's dangerous to constantly hang around such company

Placement Experience:

Mithibai has a placement cell that takes care of placements. And the opportunities for placements are not limited to last year students. You van apply for smaller internships and sometimes even jobs from first year itself. In some clubs like dllle, it's mandatory to have a 3 month internship in the second year of college. It really pushes you to start building your resume from early on.

MY CLG REVIEW

What I Liked

Think I like about the college infrastructure is a there are a lot of canteen where you can have food there are right you of food which you can have an enjoy
I also like the library of mithibai College cause it's very clean and like and field with a lot of knowledge and books which and you can study with your own books to and it's very big and like easy to navigate

What I didn’t like

Thing I don't like about college infrastructures maybe that I think the college needs to fix the lights some places it's very dark dull I think there should be standard you know lighting system
Hyderabad some weird people to in the college which might like weird out some people

Placement Experience:

As I am in the first year I don't know much about the placements but as much as I have heard 50% of the students get do get placements in big companies are the average packages I guess 7 lakhs the least is like 5 and the highest is like 13 lakh depends on year on year placement where we get our in like good and big established companies like TCS tata's Reliance Wipro and etc

Internships Opportunities:

Yeah there is an intensive program in our college which we have been told about in the beginning of the year by a teacher as much as I have heard the it is very interactive when you can get into getting an internship I personally have not gone into an internship
