Likes
- The infrastructure of the college was very nice as it had all air conditioned classrooms along with projectors. It had also gymkhana where games like table tennis , carrom etc were played.
- The curriculum of the course was upto industry standards
Dislikes
- The attendance criteria of 75% has to be maintained otherwise they would debar The students from appearing semester exams.
- The exams of the college were Held early compared to other colleges and there were no holidays between the exams
Remarks :
Mithibai college is one of the top colleges in Mumbai for Commerce . Hence due to autonomous status the college can introduce new subjects which helped me to gain skills required by the industry. But due to strict attendance criteria of 75% it become little difficult to manage the studies of CA Intermediate and Graduation hence I was not able to enjoy festivals or be part of the any social group.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I was pursuing Chartered Accountancy I wanted to do graduation course consisting of subject like Accounts , Taxation, Cost accounting etc . The faculties of the college were well experienced and some faculties were authors of various books and some faculties had professional qualification like Chartered Accountant etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No as I was undergoing CA articleship I did not opted for placement but some students in my class had undergone internships in CA firms as a financial analysts where the stipend used to be Rs.5000 per month.
Placement Experience :
The college has a dedicated placement cell called Mithibai entrepreneurship and placement cell which is managed by students and non teaching staff. The regular placement companies includes big 4 accounting firms like Deloitte, Pwc,KPMG, Ey for hiring analysts .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the first year was Rs.6500, for second year was Rs.7500 and for the third year was Rs.11200. In the third year computer lab fees was Rs. 2700 as I had taken Computer system and application as a subject. The fees included all fees such as Library fees , ID card fees , etc.
Campus Life :
The college had a very good library where all the books consisting of novels ,journals , and books from famous authors were available to rent for free. The college had a annual fest called Kshitij where all celebrities used to come for film promotion in the month of December. The college had too many fest out of this Kshitij and colossium were notable ones.
Hostel Facilities :
The college had a very good canteen in the ground floor and top floor where items of all cuisines like south Indian, Chinese, juices, pavbhaji etc were available at subsidised rates. I had not opted for hostel but there were many private hostels near the college

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
