My collage exercise is a summary

What I Liked

The college is clean and washrooms are also properly maintained
Playground is maintained by a gardener and cleaned regularly

What I didn’t like

Small campus with not very much space and large
Old building and small social place for students

Placement Experience:

There are various career councelling sessions available for students to take and placement are based on marks of the students companies conduct interviews and workshop for students but are in limited access

Remarks:

The college is comparatively good than other colleges available it is a reputable institution with high cut off on the other hand the college campus is not very spacious but decent space is available for students

Seth Anadaram Jaipuria College review

What I Liked

The college has a old infrastructure but it has all the amenities for having fun at the campus but I liked the games room and gym the most.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure was really old and it looks dull and also there was no lift available until the last year which was quite troubling

Placement Experience:

There are plenty placements and job opportunities from the college but the average salary is really low around 2.5 to 3 lpa. Companies like Concentrix,Tata, Mahindra, Hdfc bank and quite others came for recruitment last year.

Remarks:

I read good reviews about the college online and the placement cell was quite better as compared to other colleges for the same course, the admission process was fully online so it was quite easy and the cutoff was around 90% for general in my course.There was no admission test, admission was done fully on merit basis as per class 12th result.

The days in Jaipuriya College

What I Liked

I like college canteen. You can get every dish of bengali foods from here at very affordable price.
Class room of the college is too well and cleaned perfectly. Also collage ground is to decorated with flowers and plants.

What I didn’t like

Office staff, is a thing didn't like. According to me this is worst office staff of a college.
Second thing is the behaviour of teachers is not too good. They trying to fail you in the exam.

Placement Experience:

In my college have a lotoff department like science, commerce and arts or himaties. But according to placements scale commerce and science department is too good for placement. Many students of my college got placement on campus with huge amount. But a large part of students choose to do higher studies after their graduation.

Remarks:

There are no any Interview or group discussion process for admission. You have to score good marks in board exam atleast 85%, then you are eligible for this college. The cutoffs of this college is applicable according to cast. But safe cutoffs of this college is 90% for general cast students. 90% is a safe zone.

A good college for BCOM

What I Liked

The infrastructure is quite nice and quite.
The faculty is too good and well educated.

What I didn’t like

Campus is too small it could be a little big.
The campus life is average not that great.

Placement Experience:

There are internship opportunities available. The college do provide placements in well known companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc The starting package is 120000 and the highest package is 300000. The college placements are average.

Remarks:

The factors which made me choose this college is it's reputation and goodwill along with that it's infrastructure and faculty. The college is quite strict for attendance which is nice for the students so that they attend regular classes and the faculty is very well knowledged and well educated.

What I Liked

The first thing I like about my college is the infrastructure of my college it is very good and clean for an government college.
The best thing is the library where I can sit and attend my professional course classes and the library helps me to attend college and my classes both at same time

What I didn’t like

I don't like the canteen as it is not clean as it should be and students were getting sick by eating in the canteen.
The faculty discriminates between the Bengali and non Bengali students especially if the students are from outside the state.

Placement Experience:

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Remarks:

As per the sources and search I did I came to know that this is a very good college for commerce students after goenka college and the cut off here was 93%. The admission procedure was very easy and less complicate. We just had to fill the form by going to Portal of west bengal education . Then we have to visit college for physical verification and once it is verified we are admitted in the college. I just prepared for my physical verification and the rest of admission was dependent upon the percentage i scored in 12th standard. Overall the admission procedure was less complicated.

Our jaipuriya college

What I Liked

Normal infrastructure Lift is available No social life
College faculty is very good All the professor are good

I don't have much idea of placement as I am myself in 3ed semester but as per my knowledge our college do placement drive every year in college campus itself some big company also come like tata etc

Remarks:

We don't need to give any addmission test. College take admission in tha basis of 12th marks. Average cut off of the college is last of 85%. I took this college due to its evening shift as I attended tution of professional exam in day

Fading memories

What I Liked

I would say that I liked the infrastructure. I wasn't something luxurious but a decent one as it includes every necessary thing in it.
The second thing maybe the social events like Saraswati puja celebration as it includes everyone and it provides the students an opportunity to enjoy along with studies.

What I didn’t like

It would be wrong if I say that I disliked something but maybe I didn't like the faculty much. However, some of the professors were really helpful and they were actually thoughtful while the others were just focusing on the fact that we do not belong to Kolkata.
College timings. I opted for a morning class and it was from 6 am to 10 am making it difficult for me to wake up that early. It doesn't concern the college as it runs on 3 different shifts but, somewhere, I didn't like it.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placements and job opportunities in companies like TCS, etc. I went for an interview at TCS and there is a good ratio of the students clearing those interviews and getting jobs at high pay scale. Otherwise, the college has a reputation and various companies are willing to offer nice packages if the students are actually worth it.

Remarks:

My tuition teacher/mentor guided me about this particular college as it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata for commerce. I got direct admission without any tests on the basis of my class 12th results.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very good and modern with amenities of library, common rooms and sports room
Faculty of this college are well experienced and helpful to students

What I didn’t like

Canteen of this college still lives in 1975 it needs to be modenized
Government office speed in administrative department

Placement Experience:

College have a good and supportive placements cell. There are many companies such as Wipro, TCS,Deloitte,ITC ,Banks and other companies come to provide campus placement and to provide internship programmes

Remarks:

Admission in this college is merit based and depends on your performance in last board exams . This college have an admission cell which helps and guides the students for the admission process and formalities

What I Liked

I like the bulinding of the collage it is too good i really like it
Collage classe room are very neat and clean that’s why i like that

I dislike the canteen of my collage bcoz there is no cleaness
The comman room of this collage is good but no use of that

Placement to few students only given bcoz there is no possibility to give jobs to all students who is studying in this collage so they give jobs and palcement to only few students after completing 4yrs in the collage

Remarks:

I like this collge because when i was in class 1 from that time i aimed this that ki i have to go on this collge my dream is to join jaipuriya collge i really like this collag, all faculty is too much good teachers are very good..even there is 70%+ cut off for admission

What I Liked

The best place for me in my college that is our library room because it was a quite place to study and also getting helps from different writers of books
Our college garden and common room is such a memorable place because I spent my beautiful memories there with my friends

What I didn’t like

When I was in college on that time there was no lift facility was there so sometimes we have to go 5th floor by stair if we need to go to computer room but now they made it easy by building lift also
Gym equipment was updated but having limited equipments due to very less usage of the students

Placement Experience:

In the last year of graduation we have college campus interview program held For this teachers and other faculty members used to prepare us before 6 months of college placement and after preparation they help campus interview with reputed companies of Kolkata also we have some opportunities to go out of city also They gives us multiple chances to sit in college campus interview also helps us to get the job ready .

Remarks:

Our college comes in top 5 commerce in Kolkata for commerce students so that's why I taken admission for this and for taking admission you have to score at least 85% in 12th board to comes in their merit list
