honest review for NEF law college

What I Liked

faculty, rather it's the best faculty one could find in guwahati, highly educated and learned.
the focus on education and teaching methodology.

What I didn’t like

campus, very small, too congested, bad location, worse in every aspect
the absence of extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

there is no campus placement, your employability depends on your connections and education, the college will provide you nothing except a degree, law firms in guwahati give around 9-10k per month to freshers, don't come to this college expecting employment.

Remarks:

when it comes to law colleges in Guwahati, or rather north east, it is a preferred choice after ULC, GU, the education is satisfactory, the infrastructure is good, classrooms are air conditioned, the teachers are good, however the co-curricular activities are absent, there is an entrance test for admission however that is only for namesake.

All about NEF LAW COLLEGE you need to know

What I Liked

I like the campus life! Faculty is also great with very friendly teachers and staff are also very friendly and helpful! Director of nef law college is the ultimate backbone of the entire college and has a great hand in helping students with financial crisis.
Infrastructure is well developed to support academic and extracurricular activities Moot court Library Computer lab Classroom Seminar hall Parking

What I didn’t like

What I Dont like is there is no cafeteria and not all the classrooms has AC There is no college hostel and no such sports facilities also no common room for students
Campus is not so big but has made a lots of memories in that small area ! Campus location is great but there is a lot of traffic as it is in the middle of the city

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided in the last semester with few seminars held and interviews taken for the selection process The average package as per the companies provided is from 25000 starting. The percentage should be 50% or at least I don’t exactly have an idea about it as they didn’t mental My plan after the degree is to practice in higher court as I want to learn things in the practical field!

Remarks:

NEF Law College has been Ranked 56th among all law universities and law colleges in India and has also been ranked 27th among 30 top private colleges additionally has been ranked as the best law college in north northeast! The rankings and recognition are the absolute reason to take admission here! Also, the admission process is done through entrance held in NEF Law College itself and as I was already preparing for CLAT the exam was not so tough for me.
