GSVM an insight

What I Liked

The college and the professional course and the freedom ot provides is the best thing.
The infrastructure is good on the other hand but it needs a lot of repair work.

What I didn’t like

Currently under development and modernising campus so yeah you have to actually get used to that
The library is not 24 hrs we need a 24grs library in this college

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is good overall with a meagre fees of 1200 only. The mess is good with a lot of different types of food to choose from to eat in mess. I think it is an affordable way of life here without putting a hole in your pocket.

Campus Life:

Life at campus is good overall. Nit too much to enjoy about in this campus. Though there is a lot of area here but it is still an old campus with facilitied which are not upto the mark but still an overall livable campus.

A Place where Students can learn a lot apart from Academics

What I Liked

Unity among the students among themselves and helping behaviour towards everyone
Teachers teaching style and interactive classes

What I didn’t like

In first year not many things are allowed
We can not talk openly with professor and seniors

Hostel Facilities:

Mess food is good as menu is decided by students themselves. Hostel infrastructure is also great . Gaurds are there for security.Cameras are installed with audio recorder.great fun in hostel. Very much unity

Campus Life:

There are so much functions to enjoy. Firstly fresher party is given . Adrenaline is annual sports event. Tarang is annual cultural fest. Saraswati Pooja is also celebrated very nicely. Overall very good environment

Read this.......yes this can be your dream college.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostels are good, clean and hygienic and proper facility for cleanliness. Mess is also too much good. Taste of food is also good. There is no need to apply for a hostel. If you are a local of kanpur then there is no hostel for you so you have to apply but not surity but for students of other cities hostel is available.

Campus Life:

There is very healthy environment in between colleagues and seniors also. Name of the fest of GSVM medical College is TARANG that is held in the month of December. There is also a sports week in the month of November 'ADRENALINE'. In this week all the games are included indoors as well as outdoors. There is a central library in which all the books are available. There is two groups that I know, run by students are HELPING HANDS and AMRITA.

What I Liked

College academy and hostel life and its environment
Faculty and senior are fabulous. They treat us like their child

What I didn’t like

In starting our hostel infrastructure is not so good
But later they developed much so we enjoyed a lot

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel mess is well established but you know that home made food is incomparable to any hostel mess food Hostel are also alloted on the basis of how much rank you get in your neet entrance exam. Well established hostel

Campus Life:

Campus life is fruitful for us as it giving us life long lesson to how to behave or how to treat people or your colleagues Adrenaline is sports event occurs in our college Vibhor is fresher party given to new batch

Life at GSVM

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is a bit old but most departments are getting renovated and are better now. There are modern yeaching methods available
Campus life is good especially during sports week or fest.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel mess provides good quality food and the menu is discussed with the students Hostels are allotted while admission procedure Hostel fees varies from 3600-4800 per year depending on number of students in a room

Campus Life:

Our Campus is beautiful with lots of Greenery, playground. Tarang is our Cultural fest held in the Month of December. It includes lots of activities like Dance, Music, Art and craft, Literary events, Fash Sports week is also celebrated We also have a college Central Library

Simple review of Gsvm Medical College

What I Liked

I like the reputation of my college and the patient inflow here is quite good which is great for learning.
The faculty here is extremely supportive and experienced.We have so many departments and also we are provided with early clinical exposure session from first year itself.

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike the most in my college is campus . They should work on the maintainence of labs and roads and libraries.
Another thing would be hostels .The hostels are old and not too hygienic.Also dogs keep roaming in the galleries and washrooms also are quite shabby.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel fees is quite nominal being just 3600 per year . They have a mess which costs 3000 rupees per month which includes breakfast ,lunch , evening tea and dinner . Applying for the hostel is done on the same day of admission and there is not much chaos the only thing is it's quite time taking . Anyways the quality of mess food is okaish as mess food will be mess food .

Campus Life:

The campus is okay but the main block building is pretty good. We have our annual fest Tarang conducted here in which stars too come for rock nights . We have a famous central library and the area around the college is quite posh and good so you may explore lots of cafes around . Also there are lots of cultural activities and festivals are celebrated here with much joy

What I Liked

College is quite big and situated in main city.
I has a very good patient exposure that help us in Learning subject easily

What I didn’t like

Very less cultural event perform that is
Infrastructure is little old but that not much matter

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is so good well renovated. Electricity is available in 24 hrs. Proper cleaning of wash room , corridors etc. Mesh is also well good and there is different meal schedule for different days of a week

Campus Life:

Campus is quite big in compare to other colleges No club as I have told earlier it established in 1956 so infrastructure in quite old. Very less events perform in this college. Overall the college is good

What I Liked

Very nice infrastructure in comparison to other old colleges Faculty is too good and are so helpful
Campus is so fantastic for kind of sports activities cultural programmes or any other fests

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is so old but now it's renovated
Faculty have a very polite behaviour and they are so kind and helpful

Hostel Facilities:

Food quality is too good, Infrastructure is also good. You have to pay hostel charges to get it which is 1200 Rs per annum. It is so affordable because this institute resides in a city area where it you have to stay for a long time then you have to pay something around 10k to 12k per month on a average basis .

Campus Life:

Tarang is the biggest annual fest our college and we have adrenaline..our sport fest and lot of cultural activities happens here . Books are mainly provided by our seniors otherwise we buy that . There a lot of NGOs and social well being groups are running in our college.

Mess is good you will get good food with okay okay taste as you know food of mess is same everywhere You can get rooms in hostel through proper allotment which will done by warden sir room quality is good

Mess is good with good food menu of the mess is also very nice fees is approx 2500 per month and for room in hostel proper allotment is done by warden sir room is very College is located in very good area near market area

Tarang is our fest which is conducted alternative years in December month Vibhor is our freshers party sports facilities is available properly proper clinical postings and classes Attendance is very important in class
