LHMC UG Admission 2026

LHMC admits students to MBBS and B.Sc (Hons) Nursing at the UG level. Both courses are limited to female candidates, and both need NEET UG qualification. The college does not hold a separate entrance test or interview.

LHMC MBBS Admission 2026

LHMC has 240 MBBS seats, and every seat is reserved for women. Admission depends only on NEET UG merit rank and MCC counselling.

• All MBBS applicants must be female.
• Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026.
• A valid NEET UG 2026 scorecard is required for every category.
• The NEET UG qualifying percentile is 50th for General/EWS and 40th for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
• Biology and Biotechnology are both accepted as qualifying science subjects.

LHMC MBBS Seat Distribution and Selection

Two counselling pools are used for the 240 MBBS seats. MCC handles allotment for both AIQ and Delhi University State Quota seats.

• Students claiming Delhi State Quota must have studied Class 11 and 12 in a Delhi-recognised school.
• Candidates from outside Delhi can compete only for the 36 AIQ seats.
• Delhi-domicile women may apply under both AIQ and State Quota pools.
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD reservation rules apply separately within each quota pool.

Cutoff note: In 2025, the General category AIQ Round 1 closing rank at LHMC was 3,924. The General category Delhi State Quota Round 1 closing rank was 5,577. Out-of-state applicants compete only for 36 AIQ seats, so these seats remain highly competitive.

How to Apply for MBBS at LHMC?

MBBS admission at LHMC is done through MCC NEET UG counselling. Delhi State Quota allottees must also complete the FMS portal step after the MCC allotment.

• Register for NEET UG 2026 at neet.nta.nic.in and appear for the exam.
• Check the NEET UG result and qualifying status after declaration.
• Register for NEET UG counselling on the MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
• Pay the counselling security deposit of INR 10,000 for General/EWS or INR 5,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
• Add LHMC to the choice list and lock the order before the deadline.
• Accept the MCC seat allotment and pay the seat acceptance fee.
• Delhi State Quota allottees must also register on the FMS portal at fmsc.du.ac.in.
• Report to LHMC with original documents for verification and fee payment.

LHMC B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026

LHMC offers a 4-year B.Sc (Hons) Nursing course for female candidates. MCC allots Nursing seats through dedicated Nursing rounds after MBBS and BDS allotments.

• Only female candidates can apply for B.Sc Nursing.
• Applicants need a valid NEET UG score.
• The minimum age is 17 years by December 31, 2026.
• English is compulsory in Class 12.

LHMC B.Sc Nursing Selection and Application Process 2026

B.Sc Nursing admission is based only on NEET UG merit rank. LHMC does not conduct a separate test or interview for this course.

• Qualify NEET UG 2026. Only female candidates are eligible.
• Track Nursing round registration on mcc.nic.in.
• Register during MCC Nursing rounds and select LHMC in the choice list.
• Accept the MCC allotment and complete document verification at LHMC.
• Pay the Nursing fee as per the official LHMC prospectus at lhmc-hosp.gov.in.

LHMC PG and Super Specialty Admission 2026

LHMC offers 167 MD/MS seats across 26 disciplines through NEET PG. MCC conducts counselling for 50 percent AIQ seats, while the remaining 50 percent are filled through the Delhi State Quota route for Delhi-domicile candidates.

Super specialty admission is through NEET SS. LHMC has 8 DM and M.Ch seats in DM Neonatology and M.Ch Pediatric Surgery, and MCC fills all of them. The college does not run its own PG or super specialty counselling.

LHMC MD/MS and Super Specialty Eligibility Criteria

For MD/MS admission, students must have an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised institution and must complete a 12-month rotatory internship before counselling.

• MD/MS and super specialty courses at LHMC are open to male and female candidates.
• The annual PG fee is INR 18,600.
• Clinical training is provided at Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital with 877 beds and Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital with 350 beds.

LHMC MD/MS and Super Specialty Selection Process 2026

For MD/MS, MCC conducts NEET PG counselling for 50 percent AIQ seats. The other 50 percent are allotted to Delhi-domicile candidates through Delhi’s FMS portal.

For DM and M.Ch, candidates must register separately for NEET SS through the NBE portal and take part in MCC super specialty counselling. LHMC does not conduct any institute-level selection round.

How to Apply for MD/MS at LHMC?

• Register for NEET PG 2026 on the NBE portal at natboard.edu.in before the deadline.
• Appear for NEET PG 2026.
• After the result, register for PG counselling on the MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
• Fill and lock LHMC disciplines in the preferred order.
• Accept the MCC allotment and report to LHMC with original documents.
• For DM/M.Ch, register separately for NEET SS and join MCC super specialty counselling.

LHMC Scholarships

LHMC students can apply for central government scholarship schemes through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in or through state scholarship portals.
