What I Liked

Very supportive facilities with great care
Student friendly environment with events carrying out for refreshments

What I didn’t like

Few infrastructure is still under construction
Little less patient flow for practice during postings

Placement Experience:

There good campus selection and job opportunities, we'll be provided with an year of internship and then if required can be joined as a senior resident in our college if we're interested in teaching field after which we can become assistant and associate professors eventually and can also work as consultant

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, internship of 365 days to be carried out after the course in all the departments which give us a Great opportunity to explore knowledge and gain experience, many hands on experience will be given, patient interaction with everyday teaching

What I Liked

The teachers and facilities are good and the campus life
Classmates and friends make your experience better with great competition.

What I didn’t like

Hostel food can be improved and facilities
Hostel facilities and management to be improved

Placement Experience:

Internship to be done in the hospital and it will be there for one year and they are rotations on monthly basis for each department and you will posted accorto your roll number. And you will be give stipend of 10000 every month

Internships Opportunities:

It's a medical college with hospital so you can do your internship here in the hospital itself for one year like I mentioned above. You will be posted at different departments and given stipend on monthly basis

Some memories are remarkable

What I Liked

When I joined infrastructure was very poor but now it's improving a lot.
campus life is good enough..faculty's are good..

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure of hospital has to improve a lot
Some faculties are really strict and u have to maintain your attendance and internal marks..

Placement Experience:

Placement systems are not there in medical field.. We just have one year internship and afterwards we will have 1yr bond as per Govt of Karnataka nd u will posted in any of the PHC as a medical officer or chief doctor for that you will also get good amount of salary..

MY COLLEGE

What I Liked

The hospital facility is improving a lat more nowadays.
We get to assist few procedures so it is really helpful for us

What I didn’t like

The toilets in the hospital are too bad
Too many doors around the campus which is very scary sometimes

Placement Experience:

Here in mbbs we have a compulsory internship of 1 year should be done . They provide stipend of rupees 10 thousand per month . The internship is really helpful to improve our skills and gain confidence and the staffs are helpful.

Internships Opportunities:

Our college which is Oxford medical college provide a stiphend of rupees 10 thousand per month . The internship of 1 year is compulsory for a mbbs course and we do it in our college so it is easy and really helpful.

A review on a budding college that caters to building the dreams of upcoming doctors.

What I Liked

I like the fact that my college is continuously developing and the fact that the teachers are increasing in number and showing interest towards the development of students capabilities. I like the fact that the number of events, each year are increasing and that the council and the professors as a unit are able to organise efficiently, various events and bring a lot of skills. A Skill Lab has been opened in the college, two years back and has been functioning efficiently. interest is being shown by the management to improve all aspects of the college and hospital which is done is proving to develop the patient intake.
The host committee is making use of its power to help increase the quality of the hostel, and the management is putting in its efforts to do the same. Students are given a platform to give their inputs for the improvement of the hostel. Overall, the college is going to go a long way, with further development and consistent efforts.

What I didn’t like

there is nothing specific that I dislike about the college. However, I think that a few aspects could be improved. This includes the patient intake. Presently efforts are being put to improve the sports facilities and an amphitheatre and auditorium are being built. Hence,there is a lot of construction work that is going on in the college that is causing disturbance.
similarly, there is construction work is going on in the hospital. Since the college Is fairly new, a lot of development has to be done in each department and the college has to be more established. Often the students complain about the distance of the college from the centre of the city and is one of the reasons that I have chosen the hostel myself.

Placement Experience:

The criteria for the internship is to pass all four years of the degree. The internship is one year long and interns get paid 10,000/month. Every student is obliged to undergo the internship before receiving the degree. My plans after getting the degree are to move to the United States of America

Internships Opportunities:

no, I have not opened for an internship. Internships must be done by every student who is completing the degree. The internship helps us gain exposure to various cases and to learn to treat patients while working under experienced doctors.

A college with billions of dreams

What I Liked

College infrastructure was amazing with all the requirements of the students along the better hostel facilities
Library was fabulous with its rules and regulations for maintaining silence and we'll equipped with lots of books and journals

What I didn’t like

Faculty of this college are not good enough with their clinical skills and they can't teach better skills to the students
Hospital patient input was not enough for the students to learn more about the patient care

Placement Experience:

After graduation the students should prepare for the Post graduation in any department of medicine or surgery after that the students are recruited in the hospital and they are paid a lot of money for their work.

Internships Opportunities:

The college itself gives the internship programme of one complete year which includes postings in every department of the hospital and the students can learn more clinical skills and knowledge for the treatment of the patients there will be many cases daily which helps to get more clinical knowledge.

The Oxford Medical College And Hospital , Campus Review

What I Liked

Faculty is very good and academic wise the college is at its best.
Infrastructure is developing and will be having swimming pools and etc

What I didn’t like

Maintenance of the college is poor I.e classrooms and washrooms should be cleaned daily
Development of infrastructure should be completed as soon as possible.

Placement Experience:

Internships are for the 4th year passouts, They are posted in every department and alternate monthly. Stipend is decent not much compared to Government medical colleges. After a year of internship you are a certified doctor who can fulfill needs of patients.

Internships Opportunities:

I am currently studying in 2nd year so internship is a long way for me now, But I am posted to hospital in specific departments which is part of college but there is no stipend in postings it is about clinical knowledge.
