CMR Institute of Technology Bangalore admissions have begun for all UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs for the academic session 2024-25. It offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programs in the streams of Management, Engineering, and Science. Admission at CMRIT is based both on merit and entrance scores.

  • B.E admission is done through KCET / COMED-K / JEE Main exam. To be eligible for admission to the B.E program, candidates must have passed class 12 in science with physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects with at least 45% aggregate marks.
  • For admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course, candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering of a minimum of 3 years duration from a recognized board/University with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
  • MBA Admission at CMR Institute of Technology is based on CAT/MAT/KMAT/ CMAT scores.
  • MTech Admission is granted on the basis of marks secured in the GATE/ KPGCET exam. Candidates holding B.Tech/B.E degree in a related subject with minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission to M.Tech courses.
  • Admission to the MCA program is done on the basis of rank secured by the candidates in the PGCET conducted by KEA or KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) examination conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association).
  • Admission to the Ph.D. program is done on the basis of rank secured by a candidate in state-level examination ULRAT conducted by VTU University. The merit list of the doctoral courses is based on the merit of the candidates in ULRAT as well as on the performance in the interview round.
